  1. This looks great! Bodywork of the car could be better but I know you only had a few bricks that could be used. For a B-Model it is amazing! I never noticed in the movie that there was just a ripsaw underneath there, with a second driver cabin and all... Was that covered up somehow in the movie? I always thought it was really cool, but that would make it a bit lame tbh, I thought the car steering would really control the tracks... Oh well. Thx for sharing!
  2. I fist thought you misspelled "Batman" Very cool creation with enormous size. 1:8 scale Tanks are crazy, my 1:8 Scale cars already surpass half a meter, so this... Too bad it can't cross the bridge, but I can understand you'd want like to keep all MOCs the same scale. Does that mean you keep all you tanks MOCs built instead of disassembling them?
  3. Please only edit then topic if you post a new MOC, don't bump it. I don't like the idea of bumping a second thread everytime a new MOC is posted.
  4. I agree, don't hate on the knob gear. It may not be the most universal piece, but in the correct application it can be very useful!
  5. I really love this car! It is a car that could only have been born on the 90's. A super small rear engine 3-cylinder turbo that still wasn't fast, with no storage space at all. And no normal sized human will fit in it. It's about as impractical as a car can be, but it can do one thing: be fun while driving. And that's why I love it. You did a great job recreating it. The ammont of funcions in such a small body is awesome! Most has been said already, so I'll just add that I like the side letters and the correct yellow K-car license plate And here's a pic of the early Mazda 550 type a concept when the car still had pop-up headlights... A minute of silence please. Thanks for sharing this m8
  6. @suffocation It's not that I don't respect him, he has great talent for sure, but the way he left wasn't exactly nice imo. And what I said wasn't wrong either, right? He didn't post here very actively if he hadn't released a new MOC. Nothing wrong about that, its his decision. But that does make people not notice his absence once he left for good.
  7. Yeah it's like those revievers on Amazon who get the products for free and then proceed to give good ratings so they'll get the next product too. You don't bite the hand that feeds you. While all the reviewers say that their opinion wasn't influenced by getting the set for free it is still a lot easier to give a set a good rating if that money is still in your pocket, especially with these "450€ other people pay rent with this kind of money" sets. But now back to topic, sorry.
  8. And that's not really suprising since he didn't bother to comment very often exept for his own MOCs...
  9. @msk6003 Thank you for the generous offer. I really enjoyed you MOC. But due to the limited time and space I have I don't build or display anything but my own MOCs. I was sorry to see your MOCs placement in the contest, but what can you do. Keep your head up!
  10. @Adeor Just click "Edit" on your first post to change the title ;)
  11. @1974 Excuse me what? I am from Germany so I won't get it if this is some kind of word play
  12. Look excellent! I like how you recreated the driveshafts and exhaust piping on the underside. Little details are what really makes a MOC great!
  13. That's funny. I grew up with knobs, so I prefer knobs over cranks
  14. Licenses for Technic are not what is driving up the price. The Arocs and the Unimog were still somewhat okay in price, despite having the oh-so-expensive Mercedes License. This set is a test balloon to see how much people are willing to pay. Test the waters for a even bigger profit margin.
  15. F the Ladder you'll use the Ladder once and that's it
  16. At least it means you have some sense left. Others here would still get it even if it was 700$ Edit: USD
  17. Color Vomit in general
  18. I need an explanation when it is finished. I don't get anything that's going on in there
  19. GoBricks. Mould King uses these Bricks too, they are 99% as good as LEGO. And waaaay better color availability than LEGO too.
  20. Exactly. I buy almost all my bricks from china. If I can make a custom order for like 6 cents per brick , why would I still pay over 10 cents/piece for a LEGO set? Apparently Control+ components are made of pure gold. Prices are getting more and more ridiculous. I mean, compared to the Liebherr this is a terrible deal, and the Liebherr was waaay overpriced already...
  21. I don't get this set either. None of these functions require the model to be this big, so why not keep it smaller and ask a price a child could actually afford? Making a bigger model for the sake of the size alone is stupid imo.
  22. All black LA's would have looked a lot better. All the fake cylinders are all black too, so it only makes sense. And I think TLG could have afforded to recolor the pieces for the price they are asking for this.
  23. Now that is something I need! Looks very useful.
  24. Its not that this forum is not open to humor in general, it's just that I don't get the "wow look at that very expensive object I would love to have get destroyed on purpose" videos. And it seems I am not alone. It's like these videos where they shoot IPads. It gets a lot of views for whatever reason, but in the end it is braindead content.
