  1. Yes I've watched the video. And you're making the same mistake here. The red connectors are not locked on the steering rod, so they can relatively easily leave their positions under load.
  2. The steering axle with the black connector (32039) is not robust at all! The black connector can easily move along the axle or even slide off the axle under load!
  3. I like your model and the result is great considering this is your first moc.
  4. I wish it were an official Lego Technic flagship...
  5. I would buy 42055 even if the B model were an A model!
  6. I do like 42042 as well. A one of the best sets ever in my opinion.
  7. 42070... P.S. "A" model is beautiful.
  8. The list of sets that everybody recognizes even without numbers (Claas, Arocs, BWE, Volvo etc).
  9. Looks like nothing interesting unless TLG prepared something special inside the new sets...
  10. Yes I do! The seller is ready to sell it for $195! Now I'm waiting for additional photos to make sure the box is unopened.
  11. 42082 sealed is $207 (€177) in my city. Is it a good moment to get the masterpiece?
  12. Totally agree. Also I would like to add. Efficient use of resources is an important part of the entire Lego Technic philosophy. And it makes Lego Technic similar to a real life, because in a real life companies always research how to make their products cheaper but not worse compared to products of their competitors. It's called progress.
  13. Nobody limits you to use more than a one motor. But it's definitely not efficient (and nor challenging) to use a standalone motor for every single function.
  14. The topic hurts me because every time when I get a push notification about a new reply, here is still no pictures of new sets! ?
  15. I'm always spending a lot of time on optimization of resources even when I have enough parts. I feel as if I were a designer, who has to save some money for TLG! I never set a 15x1 beam if I can set a 13x1 one instead. Also I don't respect MOCs with a crazy bunch of motors (1 function=1 motor). Connect 6 functions to a 1 motor if you are such a genius! This is why I so appreciate old Lego Technic models. I recommend you to take a look at a mobile crane from 8094 and forklift from 8082. In both cases 2 motors provide 3 functions thanks to very smart mechanics.
  16. Isn't the mechanism too complicated for such a minor function? Why to use a pneumatic system?
  17. Thanks I ordered 42070 two hours ago )))))) Get it on Monday. I like the set otherwise I wouldn't have watched so many videos about it. Also it will close many gaps in my parts list.
  18. What do you mean? I guess it's exciting to build the set. There are big chassis and gearbox + cabin. What I definitely dislike in the set is that it looks like a toy, not like a downscaled model of a real car.
  19. I'm back again... Found 42070 for $162... To buy or not? Your decision guys!
  20. 42055 somehow reminds me Lego Technic 8094 (control center), that I couldn't afford, when I was a kid. This is another reason why I recommend the wonderful set!
  21. The boom is messy as hell! And why does the cherry picker need 4 axles chassis?
  22. We never had a high quality cherry picker, except small- and medium sized models. This is a good alternative to cranes.
  23. It depends on what you are going to do after assembling the sets. 42056 is a great model to leave it sitting on a shelf. Also this is a good donor for creating other supercars. 42055 is a more universal set, that would let you create a wider range of models.
  24. There are many studless replicas of the truck on YouTube. And no one of them surpassed the original. The old model still has way better proportions and look.
  25. Give me a link to the Lego moc, please. I want to see more pictures.
