  1. Corvette and the blue car have absolutely the same windshield and curved roof. I guess it's enough to claim they are the same size cars.
  2. If you're going to play a model like children usually do, then it's a toy. If you admire design, idea, functions etc without playing it for hours, then it's just a model, a piece of art or something like that, but not a toy.
  3. It depends on how you are going to use it. Im normally disassembling models after 20 minutes of exploring design and functions. Then it's immediately turning into resources for new models.
  4. No, looks like Corvette has wheels from Mack. Then the truck has standard 62.4x20 wheels.
  5. M-motors can be used to move the bucket and its cover.
  6. The 4x4 SUV uses 3 motors whereas the new hub can serve up to 4 motors. So why doesn't TLG put the new hub in this set as well?
  7. I doubt TLG would make a longer version of the already long gear racks. Let's keep building arms and booms of beams!
  8. 7 motors for 7 functions? It's a great resource set, of course, but it means it doesn't have advanced mechanics, nor gearbox. Perhaps every single motor is linked directly to its function and it doesn't sound good to me.
  9. Also designers have enough time to make the b model until August!
  10. Your outriggers look enourmosly huge, complicated and weak.
  11. We need more kinds of frictionless pins.
  12. Thank you guys. I won't buy 42039. It has cool design, but after reassembling I'll get just a bunch of not necessary parts. Not worth it.
  13. I have looked through the parts list, and no, I'm not impressed. I considered buying 42039 two years ago but something stopped me.
  14. Guys, help! Right now I can buy 42039 for $110. What do you think of the price? Is the set worth the money? It consists of 1200 parts and it's not too many, in my opinion. On the other hand, I can buy another 42069 for $100 as well (I already own one), but there are 2400 parts! P.S.42077 is a similar set just for $70, but I definitely dislike the rally car.
  15. Thank you, Lego, for saving my money! The set is even worse, than I expected! I hoped we would get at least some smart solutions for the several present functions, but no. They made literally zero efforts to impress Technic fans!
  16. Jim, what about reviews of the new sets? ?
  17. Yes I meant the u-joints and many other parts that are available for the modern Lego designers. And the modern designers somehow fail to make a proper steering system in the big Porsche, even though their predecessors did it under the worse conditions!
  18. I meant a tilted steering axle, not a shape of the steering wheel.
  19. The modern Lego designers lack parts to make the tilted steering wheel.
  20. Thanks. Very interesting. 42053 is brilliant (for its price) when motorized (compressor + lights).
  21. This is miles better, than that green jeep!
  22. I only dreamt about the wonderful car in mid 90s...
  23. 20 years ago Lego designers knew, how to solve the problem. But not now...
