  1. Wait... Look at this photo: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=3990101 There are no grey belt rims and no pins... I guess he coupled two of 2695 rims. But I still don't understand, why and how he used pins, that are visible from a one side, but not visible from the other side. What do the pins hold?
  2. I guess @Void_S has solved the puzzle.
  3. Yes, that's what I thought. Custom rims.
  4. No guys, he's using some other wheels. Otherwise I wouldn't have created the topic. The tires look similar, I agree. But the rims don't fit your examples. I have sent a message to the designer. Interesting to hear his reply.
  5. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=392128 So, can anybody identify the wheels of the truck? What size? They look familiar but at the same time I couldn't find any set where those were used. Thanks
  6. 42070 for $164 sealed 42079 for $39 sealed 42063 for $37 sealed Now I can buy 42080 for $82 or 42078 for $100, but see no reason to waste money on the sets...
  7. No. The single 12 axle makes the chassis stronger overall.
  8. Yes he does. That was 8 years ago ))))))) http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=parazels
  9. Easily! But now I'm concentrated on other moc. Next time!
  10. Stiffness doesn't depend on width. Just look at 8862! There are 2 and 4 studs and all work well! The modern tools would let him make it even slimmer!
  11. His rear boom consists of two sections: 5 and 7 (!) studs wide! If this Sariel had followed the scaler of his own, he should have made the boom 3 studs wide as maximum! Watch the video again. There are enough pictures of the real tractor to see the difference!
  12. No. The real machine has a pretty slim rear boom. Just look at it from another angle.
  13. Why is the rear boom so extremely fat? It should be 2-3 times thinner!
  14. So you made an self-opening door, but mechanical claws? And... Why the hell did you use a cord (!) to drive those gear rakes?! Who adviced you the ridiculous solution? No offense, but bigger is not always better! Please solve the problems that I found in your moc.
  15. 1) The seat is unfinished )))))) 2) Even for the short and unfinished seat he had to find solution whereas it would be much easier to make, when using two simple old beams.
  16. Any chances TLG to get back to old beams somehow? Recently I noticed in many cases the old beams work better than the new ones. Here are several examples: https://goo.gl/images/fxunDJ https://goo.gl/images/La8pwz Compare the seats! How it's easy to make a proper seat of the old beams and how difficult when using the thin studless ones!
  17. What? Was Lego available in Yugoslavia?
  18. Sariel noticed TLG didn't use a green color, because this color is used in Mini Cooper. Then why did they use blue and white gamma from 31070? It's not a licensed car, but still a pretty decent one!
  19. You'll get more tubes for your pneumatics from other sets.
  20. No offense, but the original model looks better in terms of design, proportions and "matureness". If both helicopters were available in stores now, I would easily purchase the old one. Generally speaking I miss the classic Lego Technic. Why don't TLG create an alternative range of Technic sets or at least re-release some classic set once a year?
  21. After having several crucial mistakes made in past, I always build models slowly and carefully simply because it could take much more time to rebuild a model considering complexity of the modern models.
  22. I will be waiting for your review of the set.
  23. I do love bright colors and the red and white truck + blue car look so cute in my eyes!
