A deal that I am very happy about. 2 x the mines of Moriah without figs for 15 Eu each, thats about 1400 parts for 30 Eu.

Beautiful. A nice chaos of factions. Is this a custom axe in the third picture? Did you make it? Where is it from?

Uhm, does this mean we are allowed to talk about them here now? I am confused. Anyway, as someone who has focussed on elves for a long time, I am excited about the Mirkwood elf army. Fortunately I did not spend money on ridiculous prices for Mirkwood Polybags. Since the design of Legolas, mirkwood elf and the guard/keymaster in the cellar set looked quite alike, I expect the this mirkwood army to be like this also. Which is very nice, but still a bit under perfection as in Haldir or the CMF elf. Elves are cool, elves in armor are better. The Uruk-Hai Army had 4 Uruks, so I believe there will be about as much elves in the set. As I learned from this forum, there needs to be a certain ratio between figs and buildable bricks, so there will be some structure as well. I guess a tree, which would be fine. There is that scene in the Hobbit 2 trailer where a lot of CGi elves hop along trees so I guess that will be it. Dear 13 Year olds: It might still be that this set is a false alarm. Don't spread this as truth. We will find out if you did.

Are you a member of a LUG? No, I am not. Frankly because I would not really know what to do there. What do people do there? Building together does not work - everyone would have to bring their pieces and all the bricks would become mixed up. Discussing things, ok, that could be done, but I can do this online as well. Trading, ok, that would be nice. Would you consider supporting more actively the online AFOL community (e.g. Eurobricks) as moderator, regulator (indexing, ...), making set reviews, etc.? Only by providing content such as MOC or partaking in contests. My life is crammed full of good things and I do not have the time for more , especially I do not want more things that happen in front of computers. Maybe I'll write a review one day, but in my own style then and not in some "academy approved" format.

Thread has been updated a few times since first post. Hi everyone, I have some stuff I would like to trade. I am located in Germany, but would also trade overseas if it makes sense shippingwise. I checked all the Bricklink prices in Germany. Mine are lower than the cheapest available. HAVE: - giant eagle (8 Euro) - Brickforge Lightsaber pack x3 (https://www.flickr.c...07/17778648819/) (2,50 Euro each) - Brickforge Printed Elven Helmets (https://www.flickr.c...07/17344174283/ (1,50 Euro each, plume included) - Brickforge Printed Elven Helmets in brown (x5) (1,50 Euro each, plume included) (https://www.flickr.c...in/photostream/) - torso Eomer x 6 (2 Euro each) (http://alpha.brickli...136c01#T=C&C=59) - CMF dark blue Galaxy Patrol (4 Euro with gun) , hazmat guy (8 Euro with gun) , 3 aztecs (3 Euro each, no weapon) - some brickwarriors helmets and armors https://www.flickr.c...07/16635201881/ - tonto torso, hair, legs x 4 (1,50 Euro each, no bird) - shield dark brown, no print x 10 - CMF minotaur x 6 (2,50 Euro each, fig only) - some custom printed capes (https://www.flickr.c...07/16635198931/) - various other things WANT: - Tauriel (1x) - atlantis emperor helmets (unlimited) - Eomers legs (up to 5) (http://www.bricklink...p?P=970c120pb01) - CMF Series 3 Elf parts or figs

If you hate fleshies - look inside :)
Wardancer replied to Ludzik's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I was lured by the headline. I have about 10-15 fleshie heads, mostly Rohan soldiers and Elrond (both) and Arwen. Where are you located? Are you looking for other stuff as well? Are you just looking for trading head vs. head or could you give other stuff as well? I only have the helmets you look for attached to black knights, if you need any. Also I have a few LOTR figs, minotaurs, kingdoms knights, a griffin and various figs. -
I bought an Elrond for painful 21 Euro. Including shipping. This is an OK price for Germany, but it still sucks. I don't like this making figs all exclusive and expensive. But I cannot skip an Elven general.

REVIEW: 71002 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11
Wardancer replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
The tiki warrior's mask is a great piece. Although the warrior is limited to its island setting, I can imagine the mask being used for Indians or or other tribes as well.- 117 replies

Some stuff for sale - LOTR and Super Heroes
Wardancer replied to prozac's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I am no longer interested. Made a better deal somewhere else This thread should be closed if the stuff is really gone. A seller should close his thread if the stuff is sold. -
Custom Minifigs: A Daily Adventure
Wardancer replied to Nightstalker's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Nice choices, I like the dwarf with that hat. Also it is good to see the new castle legs put to good use. -
Thank you, I completely missed that extended bar. An interesting way of making a headlight.

Ebay made me happy today: 10 Rohan soldiers, 6 horses and one Aragorn for 53 Euro. I have been looking for Rohans for ages and this is a very low price! The army grows.

What kind of green lamp or gem is this at the top of the AT-AP? It does neither look look like a jewel nor like a 1x1 round tile. Might this be a new type of translucent shiny thing?
-
Sorry, but these are part of a "Super lot", that is a whole set of items. You would have to buy the whole lot including all the other figs included in that lot. The super lot costs 72.55.

I just checked out brickshop.nl. Good shop, but they know which figs are worth a lot. I could even imagine a few "Romeinse Keizer" for 2,50 Euro each as a regiment of light soldiers. Give them helmets and a spear or a bow or a crossbow and you have beautiful warriors in red togas. Not every warrior needs armour. By the way, here is a list of all shields ever made, maybe this helps finding a substitute for the roman shield: http://www.rittersets.de/wappen.html

Some stuff for sale - LOTR and Super Heroes
Wardancer replied to prozac's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
What? Nooooooooo. My army was already rejoicing in hope of 10 Rohan soldiers. It is a pity. -
Bricklink also offers a cataloque that shows every part of every set. Giving them different heads will make it much more lively, with different expressions and ages (young recruits, old veterans etc.)

PM sent. -
The gladiator seems not as expensive as I thought. On ebay Germany, one guy sells them for 3,99 and he offers multiples. That is a good price IMHO. http://www.ebay.de/i...=item1c33aad34e The roman shield is ridiculously expensive, even on bricklink it is about 3,50!! When feeling for the commander, try to go for the helmet and sword :-D
-
I do not know any special sites that sell figs cheaper than anyone else. Here is what I would do: Current figs are MUCH cheaper than old ones -> buy many current ones, only a few old ones roman commanders are either 2,50 if you use the feeling method or about 3,50 on ebay germany, this is very cheap for a good fig with cape and weapon -> buy MANY (30? 50?): there will not be many roman figs for this price in the future, EVER -> make this your normal soldiert, buy extra shields, different helmet, weapons etc. -the same goes for the upcoming barbarian and maybe the female fighter -buy only a few spartans, gladiators or old romans, as they will be 7-10 Euros each (= that equals 3 Roman commanders at the moment, see what happens here!!) -wait for more new CMFs coming up in the future, trade a few old ones on Eurobricks -learn to use bricklink I did something like this with elves, I bought 70 for 2 Euros each when they were released. Now they would cost 5 times as much! That would not make sense. See the pattern?

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion
Wardancer replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Interesting that the islander has the non-elaborate spear. Makes him more primitive I guess. -
I think whatever method you choose, you are looking at spending a lot of money if you want Spartans and Romans. Getting multiples of a popular fig a long time after its initial release is very difficult. I have been trying to find 8 Rohan (LOTR) soldiers for a price that is not totally ridiculous, for months and all i got was three of them... Trading in the forum might be an option if you are lucky. And if you have something that others want. Do not exclude other countries. Shipping costs are often less than the money you save if you find a good offer in a different country. I would try to find a place that sells them for an ok price and buy many at the same time. If you start bidding on single figs or trading single figs then you will need months and nerves.

Looks like a serious fight! Its nice to see painted elven ears in a MOC. The brown backwards combed hairpiece which the guy with the pauldron has, is that a custom? Where is it from?
