  1. Book 3, 76103 Corvus Glaive Thresher Attack, instruction manual, there is a minor error with the shown build stage picture. In step 42 the second level floor is placed on the structure, as shown in the diagram, still there in step 43 then in step 44 it mysteriously disappears and magically reappears in step 45. Kept thinking I missed a page or something, of course it only took a minute to figure out and it changes the build process none. So no big deal, just a heads up.
  2. With my wallet wide open. No seriously for me it's actually part of some ongoing therapy, I happen to be going through. Happily it appears to be working, going on two years now and I have well over 200 sets or 80,000 plus elements.
  3. This is what I hope for as well, haven't got the Mack for this very reason, just seems to Creator like.
  4. Thanks @zoth33 for filling me in on that, looks like I got some movies to watch. I do have a lot of sets, never seen the movies or read the book, seems strange now. Star Wars, Ninjago, The Lego Batman Movie, GOTG and pretty much all the Super Hero ones. Guess I need to check them out.
  5. Yes that pivot point does appear to be offset one stud, you should see much improvement after you change it.
  6. Funny I always thought Thor's weapon was a hammer, some special hammer from some God, Oden, I think. Not real sure, it has literally been decades since I read any of that stuff and I've not seen any of the movies.
  7. Bought this set mainly to get the two dbg curved panels, so wasn't expecting much from this set and I was not disappointed. Not much to this set, good for parts though. The weird thing, bought it at the Lego store for $14.99 mrsp, yet when I decided to buy a second set at Target, they had it for $19.99. Needless to say I'll go back to Lego for that second set.
  8. Just finished building 76102 Thor's Weapon Quest. Couldn't help but notice, there are 3 exposed pins left sticking out in the back, like there is something else for it to connect to or attach to it. Nothing in the instructions or on the box art, which conveniently never shows the back side, to indicate what they are for. Anyone know what these are for? Actually the build looks better if you just remove this whole sub assembly.
  9. Maybe the round 2x2 flat dome piece with studs would do the trick. You know, the one Lego uses a lot on the underside of vehicles. Like those builds, good work.
  10. Nice, small simple build that looks good. Like the use of fender pieces for window arches, works well. The roof on the little tower adds a bit of style too. As simple as it is, I think a few more accents could really make it great. Like maybe some other color trim pieces, regardless good job.
  11. Don't really have any insight how to overcome any of the issues you now face. However having followed this thread since day one, I am very impressed with what you have accomplished. It looks much better than I had originally thought it would and look forward to seeing it upon completion. Ever since I got the Saturn V Rocket, I have wanted to build a launch tower as well, however now I think maybe not, after seeing what you have dealt with and all those parts, incredible. Anyway keep up the good work, I may convince myself to do this after all. A great rocket deserves a great launch tower.
  12. Well that's a new one, announce a contest to win a free Lego Bugatti and everyone shoots it down as some conspiracy, not one positive response. Sounds like the emphasis is on the video production not the build, so I guess they need some videos showcasing their product. I personally don't have a Buwhizz nor do I plan on getting one anytime soon, but if I did I would certainly enter, nothing to lose after all. Hopefully we see some great ideas come from it anyway.
  13. Just got done with the Fiesta, really thought it was a great build, I hope the rest of the Speed Champions sets are this good as well. A lot of interesting shaping in such a small set, especially liked the way the front was done and the whole wing section. If you don't like stickers, don't get this set, a whooping 36 for 203 pieces and like most of the Speed Champions it looks best with the stickers. Looking forward to getting the rest of the sets now, in a few more weeks, can't spend all my money on Lego.
  14. Just finished building the Mustang, despite all my grumbling about it's looks, I must say it turned out looking pretty damn good. As it happens more often than not, the physical model looks way better than pictures. Also I managed to ace the sticker placement, yay. Like the way the tail lights look as well, even though the connection is a bit fragile. The whole front dog house doesn't look near as comical as the pictures made it look either. Good set, glad I bought it, now on with the Fiesta WRC. Woot
  15. Yet another fantastic ship model, love checking out all the details. Do you actually glue the final build together, just wondering because it looks like some of those connections are quite fragile and perhaps a bit not legal. Great build, always enjoy following your progress.
  16. Oh don't get me wrong, I will still be getting the Mustang, along with all the rest of the line, maybe just not right away. I have become quite fond of the Speed Champions sets lately, stickers and all.
  17. I ride an old Schwinn, almost everywhere I go. The city I live in has a great network of trails and dedicated bike routes, so sometimes it's actually faster. All my Lego sets have rode with me on that bike as well. Usually manage 5 to 10 miles daily, 20 mile trek once a week, quite enjoyable, I must say.
  18. Gad, every new view angle, makes me like that Mustang less. That last one from Jang's video makes it appear somewhat comical, like a Cars set almost.
  19. Looks pretty good, like the micro train as well, nice touch. The head seems a bit narrow though, think it could be better. Kind of reminds me of a Gumby Godzilla.
  20. Really the main one for me and I am surprised nobody has mentioned it is, damaged instruction books.
  21. One, set 60130 Prison Island, pretty good set especially on clearance.
  22. Yep there is definitely two different versions, boxart and instructions, for whatever reasons. The set I bought last week was the one with the extra pieces. The funny thing is I think the one with the extra pieces is the original set.
  23. Great little bus, I too like how smooth the door operates. It is kind of weird seeing a school bus that low to the ground though. All the school buses around here are jacked way up, unlike city buses. Must be a European thing.
  24. Those do look pretty good, for a less expensive alternative. How much would you say they cost to make?
  25. Ah yes of course it is. The more I look at that car the less I like it, the whole front end just seems cut off or stubby, just not quite right. Of course I will buy it, I always do. For some reason Speed Champions has become one of my favorite lines. I only regret not having any from the first wave.
