  1. Any chance you'll be recording that how to and posting it somewhere us non lucky local folk could see? Im liking the center rail treatment but feel it should be gold?
  2. @Elostirion The bow does look wider than the ship Um not loving the rickity shrouds. Would love to see the 27 long the the 28 narrow over the current ... The lowest sail seems to be just a big rectangular sheet lol ... The upper two have a nice shape then the third turns into a bedsheet lol ... If you follow the taper of the upper sails a bit more and curl the bottom corners to make it look tied to the deck it would look good i think Lastly im sure that rear balcony looks amazing from the stern but without a couple of cannons there it looks unfinished from this angle lol
  3. A lovely model only to be shown with two more lovely creations ... Any chance for a link to the tractor and taxi?
  4. Nice builds would love to see more of that water tower
  5. Well how else will they tailor the ads you see to stuff you'll actually click on .... Google seems to think im in Detroit constantly ... I never turn it on
  6. Lego Rail & Transit Systems
  7. Yes it is the conductor has it on his jacket
  8. @Mesabi The stern needs to be less wide. Colored electrical tape is the same dimention as the flaps your using. Theres a wip pic in this thread where I played around with this. The front gun should pivot Dont loose focus this has great potential and is a great improvement
  9. The rats had done it, they had infiltrated the crew and officers and taken the ship as if it were theirs to begin with. That little bribe to the Captain and officers was all it took. The ship was a fine ship indeed and they had sailed for weeks drilling and prepping the crews. For the time was near to a skirmish. C&C welcome. I will add closeups when time allows me more renders
  10. Really the only advantage I see here is the lack of wires. Maybe its a little more jumpy but could that be the angle?
  11. Saddly I missed all but Phred lol but he did show me the displays ... And I know to do all access next year ... Anyone going to the ft wayne BW?
  12. That looks like a stud launcher to me ... @Bodi Very well executed fish... Er um ... Gunboat ... Thats it will this be stationed at the settlement then? Would like to know if my trade ships are well protected lol
  13. Very good to see sinbad doing his own stunts lol. The window is well executed ... Unlike sindad had he not escaped lol.
  14. I really like the shrouds on this one ... I tend to only see mortars on the bow or midsections of ships though
  15. Very impressive redesign ... I seen that you offset the boiler ... This was to keep the loco centered as all the valving was on the one side. My other "gripe" is the cow catcher ... While It looks sharp it would be promptly ripped of by any logging outfit and a coupling fitted. (something I intend to rework from his original file). Many logging spurs were just that tracks into nowhere with a dead end. Alot of times they would run the engine in reverse to get the cars there or sometimes you would have to push your other loco over the hill with the front. Other companys kept a flat car coupled out front for crew and tools
  16. For the dolly i just clip it with a 1x1 clip and a stud ... Normally dont delete it just paint it to match the floor. Grabs the center of the axle
  17. @blackdeathgr So I had a moment so I got the parts for you ... I took advantage of LDDs ability to paint any color. Ive only seen the minotaur in dk drown in brick form. 86058 Right Horn Taun Taun 98373 Mini Minotar Head 86057 Left Horn Taun Taun 24445 Plate w/mini Neck Connector 3023 1x2 Plate 3938 Plate 1x2 Rocking 3937 Rocker Bearing 1x2 Mind you these are the descriptions in LDD ... But ive not had any trouble so far finding in brick form (color accepted)
  18. Thanks lol this was rev 3 lol I would get part shaped right then try to connect the "arm" elements and the tube would turn into a zig zag lol also there was some trial and error with legths lol. I feel like the next will go quicker. Oddly enough (I started building two months ago, my second LDD build) but I noticed @Bregir had the minotaur on the last ship he posted just the other day ... Great minds think alike
  19. Thanks I tried techniques I was going to try in brick. Im thinking the tubing wont take 5 hrs in brick though lmao. This is the same ship (had to rework the sides and deck) as In the planning thread lol so the rest does exist. I wanted to make a end table size build ... The whole ship takes the coffee table lol. Thanks ... I will try to get an exploded breakdown with some part names might take a few days but Ill get it lol I'll tag you. Admittedly I built the ship first then chopped everything past the mast off and reworked ... My original plan was to show the interior but that didnt work so well ... So its just a flat brick wall for now. Thanks alot ... If you check the shipwights post there is a sneak peek of "the rest". Kinda was a chicken before the egg thing but I'm posting the egg first
  20. As the men rowed out to the ship anchored in the harbor one of them questioned "why are we dressed this way again?" "we need to be dressed proper if we intend to procure a proper vessel" replied his mate "And we wil procure it with a handfull of men?" "thats the beauty of it ... Were dressed like officers they will think we are the new commanders that wont be on the ship till tomorrow!" <OC> This build is to raise my ship limits C&C welcomed
  21. At the risk of abuse about the head and ears for posting in such an old thread ... I just attended 2018 chicago brickworld ... I learned there is a fortwayne brickworld ... This is a 30 min drive for me so I would like to know when it is and how to meet up with some fellow eurobrick builders... Thanks
  22. The pictures dont even do this justice .... There was so much for the eye to see ... This was my first brickworld ever and I was pleasently suprised when I learned I actually knew a hand full of the people that built it. Good job ... There was so much to see... Im glad I saw it the first day in its full glory. And although the flowers kept falling off it made a neat picture as if nature was existing in lego form.
  23. I like the idea to split into smaller builds ... So far the mash room is my favorite
