  1. Love the market scene looks so busy and alive
  2. so how does this affect trade companies? Am I allowed to build three builds for my trade company as well as three builds for myself? Also does this mean a Trade Company can only license three builds a month regardless of who builds them
  3. Thanks .... me too Thank you ... I am pretty happy with the results as well ... I think I finally understand how you can turn out builds so fast ... its great having such a selection of brick at your fingertips. Yes I did the sign upside down on purpose ... was hoping to make a Lantern there but I'm not ready yet lol. The sign the other way looked too low. Thanks for the compliments.
  4. Just a short way from the docks in Fatu Hiva lays a smallish boarding house that has become a regular haunt for the sailors of the FTA. With comfortable beds, a pleasant host, and fair rates it is no wonder that they choose this boarding house every time they make port. Here a sailor enjoys the peacefulness of his back room. Every room comes complete with horse hair bed, dresser, shelves, and a pot to piss in. (disclaimer: there is not a chamber maid to empty your pot so it is your responsibility) OOC: Since I am away from my bricks for an unknown amount of time I decided I would download LDD and give it a go. After a rather frustrating first couple hours and a few PM's to @Professor Thaum and @Bart (Thanks again for the help fellas) I figured out how to maneuver and manipulate the bricks the way I wanted. This marks my very first build in LDD (not counting the playing around trying to figure it out build lol) Comments and Criticism are greatly Appreciated as I want to improve my LDD skills ... also this is my first use of BlueRender no settings changed from the installed version
  5. this worked for me on wndows 10 .... will open the command and then just close and never open the gui if ldd is open and running. thanks alot
  6. Sir Edward - I was a pleasure conducting business with you and your banking staff. As per agreement the loan balance has been paid in full plus interest. I look forward to future transactions and business ventures. Signed Gustaf VonBricktin
  7. I like the way you depicted the taping of sap. Continue the quest in the name of science
  8. This is a amazing display ... I love the use of plexiglass for water ... Gives a nice effect. The underwater is well done plenty to see without being to crowded. The top side gets a little crowded but overall its well done ... The fort on the right is well built ... I my self would love pictures of just it all around As far as a video of the whole museum I personally would like to see short videos of each of the displays.
  9. Its today here and tomorrow there but today there and yesterday here lol
  10. No worries ... Im just jealous you have access to a PAB
  11. The base plays well with the shape of the tree ... I think you did a fine job representing the hunt.
  12. Job well done sir ... Great little build at the brick wall and clever little story to go with it
  13. I love all the water in this ... The splash and the aquarium stand out ... But the whole story is quite good.
  14. Very unique ship build to make the story progress very well. Looking forward to its progression.
  15. The dragon and the interior caught my eye ...
  16. The rudder and sails are well designed ... As well as the nice touch of the flag. My only nit pick is the bow ... I like the 1 brick width but i just wish the hinges were more flatering to the curve. Even with this its still a fine ship
  17. You cant use math in lego construction ! Lmao It looks swell and I like that both ends are secure ... Makes less fiddling after transport ... How do you intend to connect the modulars together? Also Im liking that blue roof ... My only change would be to see what it looks like with a 4x2 plate built flower box with flowers under the windows to give a pop of color.
  18. Perhaps shes an north atlantic Ice cutter? @LM71Blackbird I do agree with the comments so far. The sides seem rather flat and the cabin looks like an after thought. As far as the sails I like the height of the masts but perhaps you shape the second sail down more trapazoidial, then add a yard under your third that is clued up. That will give the appearence of four sets of sails.
  19. Very lovely ships indeed .... Perhaps more pictures of the lovely dark red tower emerging from the rocks exist somewhere? I would love to see this structure lol. But like I said Pictures dont do them justice Im sure ... Truely lovely ships
  20. Realistically old world and new world trade can only be accomplished by older players or trade companies that can support C4 or higher trade vessels ... You can gamble with two ships (ship level of 10) and hope for the best however a newer less established player may not take this risk due to the fact that now ships sink and get attacked and may spring leaks damaging cargo
  21. That was the original plan ... However life had other ideas and I now have to piece the shipworks back together (as well as all my other bobs builds) in order to take further pictures. So I posted what I have for now as there may be a hiatus on the story (no production - waiting for Sir Mowgli) due to real life obstacles. But Im glad you liked it. Thanks - if you click the shipworks link it will take you to the original build. The idea is that the warehouse and office are built with the rock from the hollowed out cave.
  22. Lovely office I think it sets the bar for builds in poppy port. I like the way you've added depth to the creek bed. This is turning into a fine settlement
  23. The two details that stand out to me are the water and the windows... I would love to see the behind the scene on the window treatment. The statue also stands out as well ... The new style horses lend well in this application. And the umbrella made me laugh. The cab is well done as well the posing really adds movement to it. Although I would have loved to see a ship at the end of the gangway I feel it would have detracted from the detail in the rest of the build. I think it was a good choice letting your imagination put it there.
  24. Thanks ... I was aiming for very first light ... I as well am curious to ... Will have to wait for the next KPA to see lol. Eventually my plan is the shipworks be full scale with all the aspects of ship building - but still maintaining the mom and pop style facilities.
