  1. Truely an amazing ship ... Will you be taking it to any public venues to show it off?
  2. Love the engine ... And the fact your including lights ... It does add a very life like feeling ... Only addition would be a green to soft yellow glow from the pilot house when lit.
  3. Very well done I think the paint makes the train feel real.
  4. I love the stone wheel ... My childhood has thanked you for the trip down memory lane (sharpened pocket knife one a similar wheel) Is this your design or a borrowed one? I will be using this in the future for sure.
  5. Very comical indeed. Great build and great action. Looking forward to part 2
  6. @Fraunces First off welcome to the rats mate Love the builds ... As if you picked pieces out of my own bins lol If you have the Dbs then you can licence what ever whereever (less the settlement says otherwise) to start off it would be cheaper to licence in sea rat settlements. You are limited to three properties a month Its easiest to start with your free class 2 ship then licence others when you get more Dbs @MKJoshA Can we get him(or her) added to the planning threads?
  7. Wow the golden bard I feel quite honored. If the grand city of bardo wishes they can licence the stage as their own (or tear it down). Congrats to you as well @Drunknok, @Agent Kallus I enjoyed your entries as well. Special thanks to @Drunknok as your questions about the hinged baseplate is what gave me the idea to build the campsite lol. And a thank you to the judging panel @Sir Stig, @Capt Wolf, @Elostirion Hopefully this can be a new semi-bi-annual tradition (or once a year for those currently scratching their heads) so lets not skip next year.
  8. Are you double clicking the submit button lol
  9. No we said bring tuning forks and horses .... Blasted messenger
  10. @Sir Stig Pssst has the commitiee revived from their drunken festivities? Theres a small crowd gathered awaiting the results.
  11. Keep it up ... Rather swell looking lil trader ... Your story was enjoyable as well. My only gripe is I would have a tiller stick instead of a helm wheel (least in my head smaller ships were this way) but that doesnt take anything away this one!
  12. One of these days I will try your "borrowed" hull method The trans clear windows really work on this ... And im sure you got interesting looks on the train lol.
  13. Any chance you took a picture from the other side of the rocks?
  14. Sound to me its more like a mexican stand off ... Cept we aint got no mexicans .... Lmao
  15. No flat roof in the landing? Thats unheard of. Lol I like the sea side of the building but to me the door and the bay window feel out of place on the land side.
  16. This is a great plantation really like all the action Blue render has worked well for me although sometimes I have to close ldd then open blue render. Ive also found that even if the render looks finished check to see the file actually loads from the folder before closing the render window lol. One thing that may make your cane application quicker. Ive found I do it with piles of crates and barrels ... Copy them to templates or hold ctrl while selecting all the parts of the plant then hit the copy tool it should copy the whole plant for you.
  17. Its aweful just an eyesore ... Needs condemed at once! Just kidding it really is a great build I like how you've included the central bath tub .... Er um reflecting pool thats it. In all seriousness the musket attachment worked quite well as long as you mind the camera angle. I would love to see a short how to on your hip style clay roof.
  18. Just to keep the IC story correct the original conflict all that was lost was a captured prio ship ... The crew were set free in long boats to be collected by their convoy. Due to Prio captains decision to sail through our bowspirit with no reguard. The second "retaliation" Prio ships sunk and captured a whole trade fleet. Whos the ones killing innocent men? @Professor Thaum Love the scene and the story.
  19. For the sake of the story we will just say they have brought in such a sizable haul that they need to make multiple trips haha
  20. Very swell fishing huts. Only thing I would have added was a boat tied up to the hut stairs.
  21. I love the whole scene! The greens work well and the textures. The felling is a great addition. Could you give a breakdown for me on the tents?
  22. I think this is a favorite of mine now . The shape turned out quite well a very convincing brig.
  23. I actually really like the roof work ... and agree a clever play on words lol
