These are quite appealing ... The smooth lines translate well ... Its a shame they used this train part on airplanes hahaha

Very true but i think the dutch influence spreads through all nations in bobs

Searat ships would be a mix of all as any nationality is welcome and many of our ships are prizes The way i see our ships is Cor more british influence ESL more spanish style and OL is clearly heavily influenced by the french.

Im late to the game here but space is the main concern in this area . The 9v method is easy enough ... Ive never had a 9v connector wear out ... Unless corroded or the brick snaps due to mishandling. I honestly love this solution ... For this simple reason alone. You can leave an empty wire and self wire or you can provide 9v,pf,pu adaptors on request. On the release of the any lego unit these would be great for coach power. Long game I think a method using the axle style so you can plug them into custom creations would be good. The product as is I would buy. My lug runs 9v but I build my trains pf to run on any layout. I could include this wheelset and run on batteries when on other layouts.

Two Swiss Alpine inspired trains designed with Pick a Brick
Roadmonkeytj replied to James Mathis's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I really like the brown swiss ... Unfortunately my rail line offers no electric service but i may borrow your car design for another project .... Well done ... They look good in brick -
I like this one Kwatchi ... Simple execution while maintaining elegance ...if you would not have said anything about the sails I would have thought it was intentional

Unless you go full out automation i dont see you getting away from constant monitoring ... Ive seen large layouts with only two trains running have issues that you need to interveine However running 12v you can use block sensors and DCC control from the non lego scale model trains ... Theres several good posts on here about DCC in lego trains

[SR MRCA Reaction] Question of Piracy?
Roadmonkeytj replied to Roadmonkeytj's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Would it alarm you if I told you these were all built in a matter of hours ... Lol yes I intentionally left the background blank or drab to keep the focus on the minifigs ... Also to let your imagination fill in the blanks. Glad you liked the story ... It was spun in several pms to explain the MCRA result. -
I too would love that tutorial lol

Your welcome ... So Im examining your running gear photo ... Does the motor turn the essentric to move the rods which turn the wheels or am I missing a gear connected to one of the wheels?
