  1. Whatever exposure and promotion elsewhere always helps... ...but yes, I just don't know if there's enough enthusiasm for "Deco-Futurism" and such out there to help it along. Hopefully it's shear "coolness" and sharp looks alone can help garner it further support and a longer life before expiring... 3. The Brick Fan - LEGO Ideas Coraline’s Pink Palace Apartments Achieves 10,000 Supporters Is that the Keaton Batmobile? Nope, it's a completely original creation, inspired after the Decopunk/Retrofuturistic work of Vincent Gashod, most particularly his SL20 Streamliner... Well, looks like the creator of that project has managed to reverse-engineer its primary inspiration...
  4. If we are to indeed see a Marvel-themed CMS here soon, I wouldn't even expect to see DC and Marvel share a year together, so I'd imagine they'd take turns releasing their own consecutive Series every other year after the other (i.e. Marvel Series 1 in 2021, DC Series 2 in 2022, Marvel Series 2 in 2023, and so forth)...
  5. Awesome to see you back 'round here once again @LegoModularFan!!! What better way to bring back this topic from the brink than after the Apocalypse? Thanks! Perhaps it'll not take as long for you to reach "Dukehood" as it has becoming a Count! Anyways, here are a few recent LEGO Ideas submissions that I don't believe have been featured here yet... 6. As the FAQ at LEGO Ideas' blog post puts it...
  7. Looks like this initiative has finally got a platform up and running!!! LEGO Ideas - Got an Innovation Idea you Want to Share with Us? Check out the LEGO Innovation Intake Portal!
  8. In every Series, there've always been "conventional" archetypes mixed-in alongside ones of more historical and fantastical inspirations; and yeah, maybe costumed and "City" archetypes might have always been the primary draw that most of its targeted audience look for from each Series, so it's thanks to the blind-bag system that we even have some of the archetypes we've seen over the years. So then, what's changed since then that's lead to recent CMS leaning more heavily towards "conventional" archetypes, especially now given how much less representation there is for historical/fantastical genres elsewhere?
  9. But this is a thread to discuss Robert8's designs, and therefore this discussion really ought to be continued in a different thread. Of course, there's always this topic... ...or, if one wants to specifically discuss ideas for licensed CMS in particular, then there's this one:
  10. Here are a few new submissions from this morning worth mentioning here... Viking Longship (Knarr) Overseas Raider by jbmakemson The Mill by J-Bricks1 Lion's Mountain Gate by ErockBrick
  11. Unless Lego can cook-up a worthy replacement to such, putting the non-licensed CMS line to rest isn't an option, as there are so many themes, genres, and archetypes that just can't be represented anywhere else among Lego's product lineup. I can only think that the one reason the last few Series have been so lackluster is due to some kinda hesitancy on Lego's part, not that they're running outta ideas. Like @DarrellBricker said, one doesn't even need to be an artist like @Robert8 to run circles around Lego's efforts when brainstorming ideas, so is it just that something's holding them back??? Well I can't argue with you there on that, as we'd be much further along if those guys didn't keep hoarding such coveted slots...
  12. Getting an error page on that link , project removed? Um, I guess? It isn't showing-up in either my supported or saved projects for sure...
  13. Dang, why didn't they give those to Series 20's Breakdancer?
  14. Eh, I hope they can fit further Disney CMS in there alongside those if we're to presume Marvel, Star Wars, and Nintendo will indeed happen, as Disney's been the only licensed CMS that that can offer a level of diversity closest to the non-licensed Series. Much like Marvel and DC, Star Wars as a Lego theme has shown itself to be quite capable of shoehorning any kinda character of their's into random vehicular playsets, hence why I feel CMS based upon those franchises are such a waste... Ha, well, then they've really gone out with a bang if that were to be the case (which I pray isn't)... No, they seriously need to take a cue from @Robert8 with their non-licensed Series rather than making them history...
  15. Looks very much like it, similar to various CMF figs (space, miners, hazmat etc.). Just curious but why would you hope not? What purpose would having a removable visor have? If it were a removable visor (the old "racers" one preferably), then one can swap it with another of a different color, thereby making the helmet more easily adaptable for custom Spacemen figures like a Neo-MTron Space Miner or such...

  17. I think @danth's referring to the newer upcoming mold rather than the older one. Well, I personally find the rapid introduction of so many similar new molds a little frustrating, as they seem to be as quickly forgotten as they were introduced, very sparsely being reused/recolored elsewhere afterwards if not at all...
  18. That project was only submitted yesterday, hence why it has just 59 days left... ...brand-new submissions are given 60 days to start out with, and are then granted twelve months added onto whatever's left of those sixty days right after reaching a hundred supporters. 19. Heh, maybe? It is an awfully spacey-looking helmet...
  20. Oh yes, Nessie's an exceptionally brilliant one; and similar to Clocktower Man, I do have a soft spot for Series P's Matching Costume Dad...
  21. Are you sure the helmet and visor really are one piece? I certainly hope not, but I guess I can't see how you'd remove it from behind the breathing apparatus...
  22. Nah, no way, the last thing Creator's Three-In-One line should do is narrow its focus now. The way I see it, they should continue broadening their horizons, making every year's offerings more diverse than the last, having the line be to playsets what the Collectable Minifigure theme is to minifigures.
  23. With its dual headlamps and Dark Red color, I'm thinking many are gonna be repurposing it for their Neo-MTron Space Miners... Since the last time I posted here, there've been a few LEGO Ideas submissions that I'm sure readers of this topic would take a keen interest in...
