  1. Was Bionicle G1 ever considered an "evergreen" theme at some point before it wound down?
  2. Well, just as you say that... LEGO Ideas - The Fortress by Piraten
  3. Well, the "sequel" that Atlantis got was just a direct-to-home release that was essentially three stitched-together episodes of a cancelled spin-off TV show.
  4. Given the choice, yes, I'd take a Steampunk'd Adventurers theme with an Vernian/Industrial Era setting over a Steampunk'd Pirates theme any day... Well, yes, such a theme could go that way stylistically, or it could adopt the stylistic sensibilities of Eighteenth Century associated with the Golden Age of Piracy for the sake of that vibe, all the while staying within more "realistic" confines. Think of it more as a retro-futuristic space theme, if you will...
  5. No, not like Treasure Planet please... ...as I've expressed here before, I would absolutely be down for a Steampunk Sky Pirates/Space Pirates theme, but one that has sail ships with thrusters slapped on is just plain lazy, as they've got to be either dirigibles or airtight enclosed space freighters with a Eighteenth Century flare. Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire is one of my favorites among those early 2000's animated movies...
  6. Got ourselves a new one here this morning worth mentioning... LEGO Ideas - Medieval Guard House by Micro_Model_Maker
  7. Say, how 'bout a Adventurers-themed pack, perhaps with a selection of various archetypes similar to these? Pulp Figures - Heroes & Personalities Miniatures
  8. New Elementary - LEGO® DOTS REVIEW: THE BRACELET SETS
  9. Naturally, I'm quite fond of this idea of yours in particular... As for what else I'd like to see, a Pulp Space Opera pack offering a medley of figures similar to RPG miniature packs would be pretty sweet to see...
  10. Just thought I'd share this here for those interested... LEGO Ideas - Spongebob Squarepants: The Krusty Krab by @ExeSandbox
  11. New Elementary's got a couple of reviews up looking at all the new parts and recolors the new Storybook sets offer... New Elementary - LEGO® DISNEY STORYBOOK ADVENTURES REVIEW: THE RECOLOURS AND PRINTED PIECES New Elementary - LEGO® DISNEY STORYBOOK ADVENTURES REVIEW: THE NEW PARTS
  12. I know this topic's an ancient one, but I thought it'd be the best one to share this... LEGO Ideas - Seatron: A New Space Legend by MinifigInSpace
  13. Hmmmm, besides the bowler hat, he has more of a Wild West design about him rather than Rathbone.
  14. If only they each came with an accompanying new animal mold/recolor, then they'd feel a degree more deserving of their spots.

  16. The Brothers Brick - The LEGO Creator Expert 10271 Fiat 500 is like Cool, Daddy-O! [Review]
  17. That's quite true, and there are a great many other characters that they should prioritize; but, given how odd some of the choices were for at least the second Series (like Jack & Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas and The Incredibles' Edna & Frozone), I don't think it'd be too much a stretch to expect some degree of representation for Gravity Falls within a future Disney CMS. Besides, there were two rumored BrickHeadz dual-packs based on the show that were either cancelled or have yet to be released, and when you consider that Series 2's Jack & Sally were previously represented as BrickHeadz beforehand...
  18. From what I've read elsewhere, it seems like Disney is somewhat hesitant on commissioning/licensing merchandise for Gravity Falls overall anyway. I believe it was only the Japanese Tea Garden and not @figura's Mystery Shack that had been said to have been archived due to such.
  19. I believe he's referring to this rumor...(?)
  20. Besides approved LEGO Ideas submissions, I wonder if a potential Disney Series 3 will indirectly acknowledge Disney properties that have been the basis for some recently rejected submissions, such as Snow White and Gravity Falls...
  21. Hmpf, not noir enough for my tastes... ...seriously though, I am liking how this cinematic take is shaping-up; and if anyone here's seen what Matt Reeves has done for the latter two installments in Andy Serkis' Planet of the Apes reboot trilogy, this film has to be good...
  22. Since the last time this topic was replied to, there've been a few projects submitted to LEGO Ideas that are still active worth mentioning here... 23. So, given that Series 20 will be officially hitting shelves within a month from now, could we see official images some time this week, if not today?
