  1. Preferably though, I'd wish for Lego to keep sets aimed towards an older age group to still remain age appropriate in their source material for those falling below that target range. Complex construction techniques should not act as a license to therefore utilize questionable source material.
  2. Same here, the Wikipedia article was the first and only link I looked at for that information.
  3. Among the selection you cited, my choice probably would be the Scout/Explorer, as it'd be an occupation which fuses Classic Space with the Adventurers genre, something I'd like to see in a potential theme down the road. Ooooh, is this mobile suit a part of this upcoming Ideas project of yours?
  4. Maybe we'll rather see them arrive in minifigure form for a presumably eventual second CMS for Disney.
  5. ...especially considering that we'd hear of a potential Captain Marvel set(s) beforehand.
  6. Looking over a new cataloging topic for licenses that @Blondie-Wan has just posted, I saw a few other franchises that may have a shot at getting at least a single set come next year or the following, presuming TLG still has the licenses for some of them: The A-Team Adventure Time Alice in Wonderland Beetlejuice Doctor Who Gremlins Knight Rider Powerpuff Girls TRON Voltron The Wizard of Oz
  7. Whoa, Galidor was a licensed theme? I looked that up just now, and until then, I've always thought that was an in-house theme of theirs.
  8. That's because, for the most part, Lego itself IS the art medium. Sometimes particular facets of the community can be more technical than artistic (the Technic community for instance), and therefore they're considered more akin to hobbyists; but they're all artists in many ways nonetheless.
  9. Like @Robert8, I do think they're strange looking myself too, but they at least seem to fit the bill for interpreting those characters into the BrickHeadz context. The Brick Fan - LEGO BrickHeadz Jack Skellington & Sally (41630) Revealed
  10. I think I see what you mean, given that the Green Lantern Corps' primary power is energy construction based upon willpower. The thing is though, doesn't that ability seem irrelevant in the Lego Cinematic Universe, since most "gifted" individuals (a.k.a. Master Builders) have similar such abilities?
  11. Could Sand Blue be a possibility? It's not quite as accurate as the color of the original source material, but it's a rarer color that does have a silvery quality to it.
  12. Well, as far as the rock work goes, perhaps you could use larger bow/slope parts such as 41749/41750 for a smoother, sandbar-esque look, if you know what I mean.
  13. I don't think any of the core Lego movies will even bother accounting for their own spinoffs in terms of continuity, let alone acknowledging TT produced games like Dimensions. If anything, come to think of it, perhaps the neglect and disrepair of Bricksburg has made the display a dumping ground of sorts for partially assembled sets and such, much like the planet Sakaar in Thor Ragnarok.
  14. Besides Overwatch, I wonder if the Portal and Sonic the Hedgehog videogame franchises from Dimensions are still of relevance currently. For that matter, I wonder what other franchises from Dimensions are still attainable or usable for the BrickHeadz theme currently. How about E.T. perhaps? Sure, a dual pack with Aquaman could be a possibility, while the most I'd expect from the movie could also be another dual pack with Mera and Ocean Master.
  15. There's a lot to say about this one! Besides its great looking roof, I really like its circular picture window and its rounded corner with walk-out courtyard, and its accompanying waterfall is built quite realistically! Ooooh, the foliage overgrown on this abode makes it look most atmospheric! Awesome! I'll be staying tuned until then!
  16. Nice find! Looks like he also sells custom 1×4×3, 1×6×5, and 4×4×3 panels in that color too!
  17. While I know it's supposed to be a nod to the classic 1968 Planet of the Apes movie, why exactly is there a humanoid Statue of Liberty sitting in the middle of Bricksburg, especially since we never saw such a thing initially in the first movie? Is it perhaps a "relic" that dropped into Bricksburg sometime during or after the Duplo invasion? What must Brickburg's citizens think of such an alien looking figure? After the amount of time that has passed as stated in the teaser, Vitruvius must be no longer be of necessary relevance, while President Business's fate and/or absence will most likely be explained at some point in the film.
  18. If this set is indeed a Creator Expert Aston Martin DB5, and if it's also possibly labeled with James Bond branding, then I believe that would be the first time we will have ever seen any kind of media franchise branding on a Creator themed set, right? If so, I wonder if that may open the door for the potential opportunity to see a Creator Expert scaled time machine DeLorean from the Back to the Future movies. Ooooh, now that I could get excited about!
  19. Regarding the DC Comics Extended Universe, I believe we'll see at least one BrickHeadz of the titular character for December's Aquaman movie, released a month after the fact much like the initial four sets released in January of this year for Justice League. The same can probably be said for April 2019's Shazam, while November 2019's Wonder Woman 1984 could probably get a dual pack with Diana in her reported new outfit and Kristen Wiig's Cheetah. Besides just being great choices, Looney Tunes and/or Hanna Barbera cartoons would certainly be easy to do for the theme given that they're both Warner Brothers franchises.
  20. And yet another new collaboration!
  21. Here's a brief review and overview of the set: New Elementary - Inside Tour 2018 Exclusive Set
