  1. A harbour/dockside police subtheme makes a lot more sense in my eyes; not to mention that, yes, it hasn't been done before as far as police subthemes go. Well, in the past, I'd always longed for a futuristic counterpart to the City theme; but these days now, I'd much rather hope for one that harkens back to various decades of the twentieth century. All theorizing aside, that's simply an idea that just makes a whole of sense come to think of it! If so, it better take place on the moon this time around.
  2. According to whom? There's this topic of @Falconfan1414's:
  3. I'll just say, I had never heard of this building before seeing this creation based upon it over at Flickr. I mean, dang, its resemblance to the real thing is simply uncanny!
  4. Since the last time I've commented here, I've read all of Mignola's Lobster Johnson comics, published sporadically by Dark Horse from 2007 to 2017.
  5. Yeah, I know, characters from the Watchmen novel are quite unlikely to ever come to Lego in any way. But, I still think this guy in particular would cool to see as a minifigure:
  6. I didn't even initially notice who "Chainsaw Dave" was. It's Surfer Dave apparently.

  8. In time for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse's opening weekend, @just2good and @Ashnflash have again cooked up a hypothetical CMS based upon the movie:
  9. Disney/Pixar's Coco from 2017, 2014's Paddington, and the latter's 2017 sequel. As far as Pixar films go, Coco was a lovely little tale with a most gorgeous and creative setup that I both thoroughly enjoyed and admired. The Paddington movies, on the other hand, were not at all what I expecting, and I certainly don't mean that in a bad way! From my point of reference, I'd lightly compare them to the Stuart Little movies, though with a much more quirky, British flavor about them and good touch of Wes Anderson-isms sprinkled throughout. Plus, its sequel even triumphed its predecessor in more ways than one!
  10. Simply spectacular! It's a shame that there seemingly less Brickfilms being produced more recently by the all-time greats in the craft. Why is that all of a sudden? P.S. Here's the video embedded by the way.
  11. Unless he doesn't have a speaking role in this sequel, who's voicing Good Cop/Bad Cop? I wasn't at all expecting to see him, being absent from marketing seen so far and all. Nonetheless, his new attire (his jacket in particular) just screams Max Max if you ask me.

  13. Seriously though, wouldn't Jenny Slate's Harley Quinn in Apocalypsburg attire made a whole lot more sense?
  14. Back when the fallen Statue of Liberty was first seen in the initial teaser, I hadn't given it too much thought to it beyond that I found its inclusion somewhat strange and random. After all, I would've figured that at least it should've been more in line with with minifigure proportions as opposed to source material accurate human proportions. Even after hearing our first rumors that this movie's D2C would be based upon it, all I honestly could do was shrug at the quirkiness of it once again. But, after finally seeing as a set, it is pretty darn cool looking, quirky randomness and all. I'm now looking most forwards to seeing the reviews and speed builds of this set, as it's angled building techniques and facial construction are going to be the most intriguing I feel. Not to mention, who ever thought we'd see such a nod to the original Planet of the Apes from Lego in a way like this?! But still, DCEU Harley Quinn?
  15. Huh, I've never noticed how @Robert8 utilized dual-molded arms to create the effect of that Dark Brown upper garment carrying over to the figure's shoulders in his original design.
  16. Thanks to @LegoModularFan's incredible Inspirational Modular and Castle MOCs topic further fostering my love of LEGO architecture, I consider two of my all-time favorite, inspirational architectural builders to be Eurobricks' @RoxYourBlox and @Pate-keetongu, whose dazzling work never ceases to amaze me!
  17. I like that it's a cheap way of obtaining not one, but THREE Sand Green Nexo shields that were originally introduced in this year's Statue of Liberty from the Architecture theme! Brickset - 30620 Star Stuck Emmet
