  1. I agree, which is why I'm currently making my own custom lighting for replica car lights. Yes, but the SBrick does have other advantages.
  2. Great gearbox! I like that you added a V8, which is something different. Will build!
  3. I think that using non-lego parts is okay as long it only makes up less than 5% of a model, because Lego can't make everything you need for everything you make. Although I think that you should try to make a solution out of original Lego parts first, because where is the fun in cheating? Probably the most commonly used custom/non-lego parts are electric, such as lights an SBricks. Another thing that could be added to that list is string .
  4. I wish I could have gone to see it (I really like GBC's), but brickvention is too busy for me . Better to watch the video!
  5. And if it had a hollow stud, it could also connect 2 bars at a right angle . Also I thought that there should be more sizes of reverse tile, not just 2x2.
  6. It is a 5x5 technic disk, there are multiple colors and designs of this part here: Technic, Disk 5 x 5
  7. Yes, I think a lot of people want that! In fact, many parts would be useful as reversed versions.
  8. Cool! a tank that can drift! Very cool MOC, it look great! (especially with 2 V8's )
  9. That looks better, I might get that. I actually found exactly the right cable today, It is black and has 19 strands inside it (normally 7), which is the same number as the Lego wire! But it is WAY too expensive, AUD $16.46 for 1 meter of 6-way, plus AUD $12.95 for shipping! Link if you are interested: 3M 3319-06 Black High Flex Ribbon Cable
  10. I would like more dark blue parts, especially in Technic parts, it's such a nice colour!
  11. Maybe you could Google for some images of the box. Also, this topic probably should have been put in Special LEGO Themes .
  12. I can see it, but I don't know why it's so big.
  13. Interesting... I haven't seen that part before.
  14. Cool! Very fast! What are the blue parts used as support?
  15. Yes, buying from China is always cheap but slow . The tires look great, and so does your crawler! And like @Aventador2004 the rims I use are the old type without reinforcement, it is just a matter of finding the right spot (like my tires!).
  16. Again, it is not the right type of (ribbon) cable that can be split easily. Check out this datasheet. Also I don't like buying from Amazon.
  17. Try putting all the gears in a container (with a lid) with warm soapy water and give it a good shake, then use a old toothbrush to remove anything that is left. Don't forget to re-grease the gears after they are dry, with a light grease, not oil.
  18. But ATA and SCSI cables are not made with black ribbon cable.
  19. Thanks for moving my question here!
  20. I want to know how to delete the Eurobricks notifications (not email) after I look at them, I currently have 3 pages of them when I click View All Notifications. Thanks . Edit: I just saw the HELP!!! topic, I probably should have asked my question there .
  21. Not that I like non-lego, but that does look good!
