LPub 4 Help
mocbuild101 replied to Ellisss_2's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
For LPub3D or LPub 4 to generate step by step instructions, you have to use MLcad (not LDD) and add the steps one at a time yourself. At it's most basic: add some parts, add step, repeat. I have a lot of experience with MLcad and LPub3D, so don't hesitate to ask me for help . -
Lego motors are built very well, and I would think that any motor that is working will keep working for a long time. Two of my motors I have got came from a VERY used Hot Flame set (that the previous owner bought when it had just been released) and I have been using them for over 2 years now, and they still work great.

No, not really. I have seen things get updated quite quickly, although I have never bought PF parts from Lego shop.

Thanks, I was looking for that page... I didn't see it in the Browse section . I resized them to 800 wide by Ctrl+Right-click and then Edit Image.

This MOC came about from my wanting of a super compact all-in-one Lego compressor, and after trying many different auto valve designs (and about a week of building), this is what I came up with: Video: Features: Air tank Automatic pressure switch M motor and 6L mini pump compressor Very compact 15 x 11 x 7 stud size Easy removal of battery box Pneumatic tube lengths: 1x 3L (2.4cm) 2x 10L (8cm) 1x 14L (11.2cm) All the pneumatic tube lengths listed above (and most of the other parts) are available in 8110-1 Unimog U400. Instructions are available on Rebrickable. The compressor uses a single 6L mini pneumatic pump, but can easily be modified for two pumps. The automatic cut-off pressure can easily be adjusted by changing the strength of the rubber bands attached to the pneumatic cylinder.

PF Maximum Voltage
mocbuild101 replied to rkkm's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I just said that because I once put 4 NIMH with 2 alkaline in a PF battery box, and both alkaline batteries started leaking after only 10-15 minutes of use.- 53 replies

That's a lot of stuff just for a bit more power . Mixing different types of batteries is not recommended.- 53 replies

Transparent Bricks In Stud.io
mocbuild101 replied to mocbuild101's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Even 1 brick by itself is transparent, although I have tried that. -
Hi I'm Mocbuild101! . Some of you will have seen me on Rebrickable, which is were I post instructions for some of the many MOC's I make. I like Technic, Mindstorms (EV3 and RCX), Power Functions, RC cars, electronics, and stuff that I can make in Lego, so I can always help you with anything you need to know about them. My favorite color is black (and sometimes very very dark grey...), so expect a lot of my MOC's to be black (although I do add some other colors!). Always building, Mocbuild101.

PFx Bricks
mocbuild101 replied to WvG_853's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I want one! but I can't afford it! I really like that you can still use PF remotes to control it, and I hope it gets enough backers to have it made. -

PF Maximum Voltage
mocbuild101 replied to rkkm's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Firstly never go over 12v with any electric Lego parts, and try to keep the voltage as close to 9v as possible I can confirm this, all Lego motors are 12v inside because it is safer when 9v is used. It is actually rated for 7.4v and only has 8.4 immediately after charging.- 53 replies

This is getting very confusing! Try copying all of the program, but using keyboard shortcuts. Like this: select all the blocks in program 1 (the one that works) and press Ctrl+C, then go into program 2 and press Ctrl+V, then just run it as normal. If that doesn't work then just make the degrees that the motors rotate bigger.

servo not for steering?
mocbuild101 replied to itoero's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
As said by Philo in this topic: As for your main question, you can use the servo for whatever you want, it's just a motor that doesn't turn all the way round.
