  1. YES!!! Not only is it a special box, but if you ever resell, it will be much better with the box.
  2. There is that... I got lucky and got one for $40 on Ebay (bidding!)
  3. I think so... But the point is that it works!
  4. Short answer: a LOT! Long answer: $600+, and look the parts up on Bricklink for the best guide to how much you really should sell them for. Personally I would try to keep as much as I could by selling the parts I had most of - I your case you should probably start by selling some PF, like battery boxes and XL motors .
  5. From Lego fun to RC fun ! Pity you couldn't have both...
  6. This would be a good solution. You could also use pulleys with a rubber drive belt, but that probably wouldn't have enough reduction.
  7. They both have different uses in MOCs - for example: you can't use LAs for suspension and you can't make pneumatic cylinders move a small amount before stopping. @Sariel made a great comparison in his Technic book about the pros and cons of LAs and pneumatics.
  8. But the Lego rechargeable battery can be connected via an AC adapter to power models all day...
  9. These 3 are not so good, because they all could have been avoided.
  10. If you are right, it could mean that the contacts of position sensor are dirty - because that would mean that the RC unit doesn't know when to stop turning the motor. (but the output would stop because it has been blocked) By the way @rkkm, didn't you say that you drove it in/near sand?
  11. You can use Bricksafe for pictures, and if you are not on YouTube you can also use it for videos, just by linking them (the pictures will be automatically embedded, but the videos can only viewed by downloading)
  12. I can see that you are close to Knight too - only 49 more posts to go! You probably think of making or finding a profile pic now that you so close...
  13. Sounds like one of the gears inside it has slipped - you will need to take it apart and have a look , but make sure you don't strip the screws when you open it! You could also try to realign the gears by turning the steering output by hand, but this might break some of the gear's teeth. Post some photos (or video) of it before you open it, so I can see the problem.
  14. I think it is, I use Bricksafe and it has no problems at all.
  15. I have no idea why that is happening, but for the moment you can just drag the image from the linked page into the post like this: You can see that it works like that! (I resized the full size image down to 500px wide)
  16. Thanks! I originally didn't have the almost bit - I added it after remembering that you can't make Lego fly .
  17. Thanks, I actually thought about doing it that way.
  18. How do I contact the Eurobricks staff about merging one of my topics with another similar topic? Here are the topics in question: - Edit: removed merged topic - Merging into: Thanks .
  19. The easiest way: use 1 motor for the front wheels and 2 hard coupled motors for the back wheels. Yes if they don't have much grip - but if they don't slip, something is sure to break!
  20. Yes, It's exactly what you should do with broken parts! I have done that before too. Also, congratulations on becoming a Eurobricks Knight!
  21. It's okay to modify parts sometimes, other people have done worse... I modify parts quite often, but 99% of the time they already are damaged or broken.
  22. Thanks @PorkyMonster and @JJ2 ! So this is what I understand (correct me if I'm wrong): I need a Transmitter, Receiver, ESC, and Servo (I am using Lego's Buggy motors) The Transmitter and Receiver need to be the same brand, but it doesn't matter about the ESC and Servo (as long as they have matching plugs) The Receiver controls the Servo and ESC - which controls the motors Still deciding what to get...
  23. Well that's a good MOC idea for the future for me! You could use them to dampen other springs... Ah, well I only had a guess .
