  1. Very strange... Same here, I'm using Firefox too. One thing I noticed, when you click show results, it refreshes the poll but "&_poll=results" isn't added to the end of the URL in the address bar - which explains why you can see the results if you open it in a new tab. EDIT: Interesting... I was able to save my vote! What I did is refresh the page just after clicking "submit vote" (while it showed "voteing...").
  2. I voted, and a pop-up said "thank you for your vote", but when I refreshed the page, it hadn't saved - and I could vote again.
  3. just going by the title of this topic, the way I would put it in my instructions (if I ever did) is this: First in MLcad, create the two different sub-assemblies. Then put both in the main assembly, but put the alternate method in a buffer exchange. Then in LPub3D, put the two assembles in call-outs (on the same page, if they are small) with "or use this:" above the alternate method. This would make a page that has two steps showing the two building methods. (although the alternate method will appear first - putting it second is possible, but more complicated)
  4. By posting comments/topics. But don't rush it though, those ranks (and the number of posts you need to get to them) were made for a reason - for members to gain experience.
  5. So it's not just the Technic forum... Well at least someone is working on it. (thanks @Jim!)
  6. I haven't tried myself, but I do know @Jurss was planing on doing the same thing:
  7. Amazing mechanism! And great work reconstructing it too! Yes, it's fine. Great, that will be fun to build!
  8. It's simple, just connect the shock absorber to the top suspension arm. Just paste the link into the post directly (without using the link button). Like this:
  9. Okay, thanks, I should be fine now - but I will post here if I have any problems.
  10. It's been a while (1-2 months) since this problem was first mentioned, but it still hasn't been fixed. Just to remind everyone, the problem with the polls is that no one can use them - the answers don't save, and the results (of public polls) can't be viewed. Hopefully someone (maybe @Bonaparte, @Jim, or @Milan) can fix this... (or explain what's happening?!) By the way, I have added a poll to this topic as an example. Edit: That's strange... this poll works! Maybe it's just not working in the Technic forum - because I know it doesn't work there!
  11. Nice and... BLACK! And not only is it my favorite color, but it's also really great looking, and very compact!
  12. Nice! It's kind of hard to find GBC starter modules - so thanks for sharing yours! Yeah, me too! But my main problem is getting balls for it - they are quite expensive!
  13. Thanks, I thought that was the case. That's slightly confusing... Are your LGEO parts different, or better in any way?
  14. Much better! It's amazing how such a small thing can make so much difference!
  15. Does anyone know where I can download the full LGEO library? I'm not sure if this is the proper (full) version: Please advise me what I should be downloading to get the full library.
  16. Maybe, but I have never tried it... You would need some very high gearing to get 20km/h.
  17. I have finally got around to putting this on Rebrickable! I have been busy with building/testing my speedcar, and also have been trying out POV-Ray (with mixed results). So expect some renders and more photos soon! And don't forget to upload your fan photos to Rebrickable if you build it!
  18. 1: Leinaud 2: JTS 3: ZBLJ Great work everyone! But just one question: when did AMS-1 start? I would have really liked to participate in this - if I had known about it...
  19. Nice work, but I don't think the spoiler should be blue... it would be better in red or black. I also think the body could do with some filling in, but I do like the engine!
  20. I agree, some of the more recent sets really pack a lot in - especially when compared to older sets! Yes, I have used them like that many times - it's very handy! Thanks, it feels good to be a Knight!
  21. Wow! Wouldn't it be fun (but tiring to build) it you could buy sets like this - imagine the BWE built with these! Yay! 500th post! (and the perfect place to celebrate too!)
  22. What a great little truck! Some very interesting parts usage in it too! The funny thing is, I only discovered this on Rebrickable - I don't know how I missed this topic here...
  23. It should be quite easy to make one, all you would need is a synchronised gearbox - I think... Well I wouldn't say stoped - more like tried to organize...
  24. Is the 8z gear offset at all? Just like water and gravity, air doesn't scale properly - you would need to go faster at a smaller scale. Isn't it great when things match up like that! Well, to put it simply, no.
  25. sometimes I even have to get out the hammer! But anyway, back to topic...
