  1. Got one of the older Backhoe sets (8069) for $35 the other day. Although not technic, I also got a massive lot of monorail tracks for $180.
  2. A licensed RC car? Are my dreams actually coming true??!?
  3. Oh my, you have the super-ultra-mega rare see-thru pneumatic cylinders! So lucky and great MOC!
  4. Oh my gosh, I have always wanted to build a model like this! Great job!
  5. Just guessing here, maybe some dirt and grime got stuck in the steering unit, motor in the receiver, or joystick box in the remote?
  6. Wow, it looks awesome, especially the back! The amount of functionality packed into this small model is most impressive!
  7. I am crazy for new pieces, pieces in new colors, and cars in general. Nothing can explain my total excitement for this set!
  8. Part 11954 in Dark Blue, either from 41999 Crawler Special Edition or $20 pullback Record Breaker.
  9. Actually, it was first released under the Drome Racers line in 2002 in the set “Street ‘n’ Mud Racer”.
  10. Woah, those are really pretty! Did you get them via BrickLink?
  11. I have a feeling that there is no servo... Maybe the hub can control any motor like a servo?
  12. It looks awesome! Have you tried driving it yet?
  13. Clever mechanism to make the buckets dump! Nice module!
  14. Wow, super lucky! 8448 is one of my top 3 most wanted sets!
  15. Yeah, that piston setup looks a little flimsy. Why not replace the small crossblock, axle, and connector with the 1x3 crossblock with two pinholes and one axle hole connected to the 1x1 beam with pin?
  16. This is by far the best small chassis ever! I would love to build like this once I get more experienced.
  17. Oh, I confused these ones with the second generation.
  18. If I understand you correctly, the Samsonite gears shared the same axles as modern gears today, but in a milky white color.
  19. Same for me, I have tons and only one is broken (the L shaped one in old light gray).
  20. Wow, how are you building so tight and complex suspension mechanisms?? This is why I like seeing small RC LEGO cars!
  21. I am not sure how the “age limit” matters because I think it is a suggestion for people looking to get a gift for a kid and seeing if it would be fitting for them. The only real age limit is 3+ due to choking hazards.
  22. I want to try this again, it sounds like a great idea! I just think that setting up a racetrack may be hard for some people and instead people could just make a video showing what it can do on an empty floor.
