  1. To be honest, I don’t think it’s that great. Nice to see some dark blue and a mixer tank, but feels kind of empty and elongated.
  2. @LeewanNeat! I like small changes like this, keeps the part library interesting. I really do hope they made the axle hole deeper or the axle holder taller.
  3. Excellent review as always! I would love to get this for the shelf! I also noticed you put the axle and pin connectors #1, #3 and #5 as new in lime, but they have been released before in this color.
  4. I heard it was retired because LEGO cited structural problems.
  5. Hm, the USA site does not say 42097 is retiring soon, there is no sign of it going away.
  6. Nope, the teeth can’t reach it. The new version has little notches on either side of the teeth that pushes the chain even farther away, so it does not work.
  7. Wow, I can’t wait for this one! Hopefully international shipping won’t be too much since I can’t wait another two months for this!
  8. I think the official LEGO color names are kind of strange, I use BrickLink (same as Rebrickble)’s color names.
  9. Wow, you used Blender? I just started learning how to use it and have been following tutorials. This looks great!
  10. Woah, pretty neat! I’m not sure why the needed to introduce so many new panels, but I’m not complaining!
  11. Just finished building the set today, IMO I don’t think it’s that bad. Great parts pack and if you don’t watch the movies I think it’s quite a fun set.
  12. I feel like the cost of manufacturing may have been their downfall. They seem to have a complicated assembly process and a lot of glue.
  13. Huh, seems like they merged the two. They listed the new mold being in the Charger and the Downtown Diner. Also the picture for the part is of the old version.
  14. Brand new F&F Charger set, I just opened it and those are the changes I found. Rebrickable also lists the new suspension arm mold.
  15. @SNIPE Nice spots! Interesting choice for the SPIKE wheels. I also wanted to share that the mold for the 5 long suspension arm got slightly updated and the differential gear has been updated with a gloss finish.
  16. I have been watching your progress on YouTube! You are a very talented builder.
  17. Wow, you can immediately tell it’s a bike, instantly recognizable! It’s so simple yet captures the real thing very well! I like your “evolution of biker’s vehicles” image
  18. @MarkyMark42 release dates (I think) are June 1st for Europe and August 1st for USA. I really hope this becomes available on BL soon after it releases so I can get it before August.
  19. For some reason, I feel like those new panels aren’t really something LEGO would produce. They look too specialized for that specific model, and to make six molds just for that set seems a little much. They don’t look versatile enough for LEGO to produce.
  20. The current receivers are a strange “V1.5” that fix issues with M motors (I believe) that occur with V2 receivers.
  21. Rebrickable has two inventory versions, one of them confirming that later copies included V2 receivers. (apparently it also came in the 2010 passenger train in later production copies)
  22. I have the feeling that the shock absorber end is attached at the factory and can not be removed.
  23. Dang, I have never seen this variant before! And I thought my normal copy was hard to find...
