  1. That is awesome! I have wanted this set for a while (but I am a Mac user ) but the colors and parts are very cool!
  2. Job: Rear spoiler Status: Finished (I think)
  3. Finally done! Wow, sorting and inventorying (piece by piece) was a nightmare Here is the Rebrickable link: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-17042/TechnicRCRacer/supercar-x/#comments
  4. I just wanted to add a little: I think this discussion has heated up quite a bit. Here is what I say to MOCs that I comment on: I always start with praise because it is a nice model, then I leave constructive criticism after. It seems people have different interpretations of what is nice and what is slightly offensive. I sometimes get a little frustrated from a comment, but I just chill and everything ends up fine. I take the feedback and apply it. No offense to Sariel, but I can see why some people are upset over your comments. I personally don’t find them that bad, but with almost no praise, it makes it seem you are more wanting to give criticism than comment about how nice the model is.
  5. Ohh, that reminds me of when I started Technic. My first car had a 5 x 11 beam frame in it and I put 3L axle extenders in the sides with 2L axles. I still haven’t gotten around to taking it out with tools yet.
  6. Thanks! Looks like I forgot to build mirrors... I will add them into the instructions if I remember.
  7. Instructions in the works! Just finished chassis!
  8. Ahh, I passed that without realizing! Should have bought it at the flea market; I didn’t know it was rare.
  9. I don’t mind putting stickers on parts because I have a special technique on taking them off leaving no residue (peel them off very slowly!) and I generally don’t run my cars outside. I don’t mind light on my models unless it is close to a bulb. (Exception: Monorail parts)
  10. It’s just so... PERFECT!! Super amazing and one of the best of not the best technic super cars I have ever seen! It is very clever to have the windshield wiper select which door opens.
  11. I got a servo motor and V2 receiver for $5. Also, not really technic, but I got an 80% complete 6991 for $120.
  12. About the same price I got mine for! Great deal!
  13. I don’t like modifying parts and I still wish LEGO would make faster motors, but if you are okay with using expensive parts, I think the RC Buggy motors from 2003 are fast enough.
  14. Oh man, it is beautiful! Great job with the bodywork!
  15. I’m excited! Looks like a great lineup, especially the RC car and the GT racer!
  16. It is called Bricks by the Bay. I also posted a summary of the convention in the events forum.
  17. Fragile? Mine have held up very well over the years! If I was to bring anything back, it would be the wheels and tires from 8448.
  18. Spot on! Just like what my expectations for my cars are like, but then reality kicks in You’re lucky BrickFair has a Best Technic award, he convention I can go to doesn’t even recognize it as a theme.
