    I love the theming on this! Very cool mechanism too! I haven’t been able to make a GBC launcher and I still have trouble understanding how this one works

    I just used some recommended lubricant on some stuck monorail switches and it is plastic safe and works well. It is called CRC 2-26 lubricant (? Don’t have it with me right now).

    Just finished mine a couple of minutes ago. Very fun to build! The only thing I dislike is the hood because I think it would look better with 5x11 big curved panels instead of the 5x7 panels.

    Thank you! I participated in a workshop and got 104 of those beams When I got them, all I could think of was “monorail station!!” I just received the 6347 expansion track yesterday and all I need now are some train bases! Thanks! I will definitely add on to this in the future.

    Hello! This is my first topic in Train Tech because I have developed an interest in monorail! I have been collecting for about a year looking for deals and here is my first MOC: It is supposed to look modern with its conveyor walkway and the style of the roof. I do not have the train bases (yet) so there is no train to go with it. Here is the train side: Please tell me what you think! -TechnicRCRacer

    I once heard that a solution to un-jam monorail switches is to put graphite lube in the crevices and shake it around. It seems to work and I think it is safe, but I am not sure.

    If anything, I would assume that petroleum jelly would be safe.

    I have a printer called Lulzbot Mini and it is very reliable! I haven’t taken it apart once in the year that I have had it! The only downside is that it prints objects at 0.1mm over the standard 0.4mm nozzle size, but it only affects my projects once in a while. I have printed LEGO compatible parts with it and with down tweaking they work great!

    Got 10 bits of monorail in good condition for $90. Not too good of a deal, but 3 of them were long straight pieces.

    Day 3: Day 3 was pretty fun! There was this huge rocket: I also finally got monorail track! It needs some cleaning, but it looks great! It was also quite a good deal. Beyond the Brick was there doing interviews and there was tons to look at! @Brickey34 How was your visit? Day 4: Today was pretty fun! Not many activities, but it was fun to hang out and chat. I got interviewed by Beyond the Brick! It was kind of scary, but it was very exciting. It was sad to leave, but the conference was tons of fun and a great experience. Has anyone else gone? Let me know!

    Day 2! Day 2 was super fun! I set up my stand: Here is a picture of the convention space for displaying: There is another ballroom just for vendors! I am trying to get the elusive monorail :P This is my favorite MOC: a cyberpunk city with lots of monorail (6 trains in all!) I took part in the build by the box activity, where you cannot use instructions and only the box picture to build a small model. This time it was 60145 Buggy. I lost :P The keynote speaker was someone known as BRICK 101 on Youtube and he was very cool and funny! I am excited for day 3!

    Yes, you get to keep the kits! I think you have to pay for the full Thursday - Sunday ticket to get the goodie bag. I will have to post Day 2 tomorrow because the keynote speaker tok a long time and it is late :P
