  1. Nice too see an update even if just a teaser!
  2. I actually prefer a Feb 1 release date. There’s enough new sets out on Jan 1st and January is usually such a slog to get through, so something to look forward to is welcome. Price almost same as NC but 800+ more pieces suggests there may be a lot of small roof tiling and plant elements. That’s not how imaginations works It’s supposed to fill in the gaps when you don’t have an image (well, aside from a silhouette).
  3. Old Fishing Store 21310
  4. If the Earhart set ends up just being a mosaic, there will be huge and well-deserved criticism. It should be a vignette similar to Women of NASA.
  5. Another claim that Gardens is being released Feb 1st.
  6. For starters, I think you could maybe do with scaling down the sugar in your coffee. And maybe cut out the coffee too.
  7. Thanks Guyon, was doubtful when I saw it myself but not well informed so just put it out there anyway. Don’t understand the mentality behind fake leaks, childish and pathetic attention-seeking I guess.
  8. Just saw apparent list of 2021 sets that seem to support the underwater theme for S15, not sure if legit... 71750 Cole's Swimming Facility (hmmm) $19.99 71752 Gates of Atlantis (please be true!) $39.99 71754 Dragon of Water (already confirmed) $69.99 71755 Underwater Temple of Distortion $99.99
  9. And now we have Pandas coming in BrickHeadz form. No prizes for guessing how that internal LEGO meeting went. Yet more pandering (excuse the pun!) to a certain market.
  10. Please be the Krusty Krab...
  11. The keepers' village does look like the result of a late night cheese dream. The tower totem and snakehead rock look fun, the rest less so.
  12. Easy pass. Minions have had their day now and the weird partial release of 2 of 4 sets in the spring when the movie was postponed didn't help. Not sure why the Frien....err Pets is a 2-pack? It'd be like having a new SW set with Yoda and Grogu.
  13. Gardens release date is February apparently.
  14. I'm sure I'm not the only one who scrolled down in the faint hope of a revealed pic of "Die Gärten von Ninjago City"
  15. As @MAB says it varies by country, but as a guide, I think I have around that amount currently and you need 3200 points to get €20 voucher.
  16. Yep saw that in the leaflet. Very clever use of existing elements. Fair enough but highlighting a figure and saying “strong pass” suggests you think it’s poor, rather than one you simply won’t buy personally.
  17. You’ve definitely hit that sweet spot. I’d buy this as an IDEAS set without hesitation for that reason alone, with or without carrier livery.
  18. Lovely proportioned plane, and yes whilst it definitely has an Embraer look, that’s not a bad thing IMO. The cabin details clinched my vote. Hopefully the carrier and livery doesn’t make it too parochial for 10k support but good luck. Stiff competition though, the latest Concorde has to make review surely?
  19. How can that beekeeper be a “strong pass”?! It’s up there with some of the best ever CMF from the earlier series IMO. That little honey stain drip on the torso is just above and beyond.
  20. Came from a pretty reliable source. And we never got that flagship set in the end. Plus some sort of large rodent that was reminiscent of Scrat the acorn-obsessed sabretoothed squirrel from the Ice Age movies. And humans not cavemen, so clearly set in modern times (the extinct animals were being dug out of the ice weren’t they?) and thus possible to see an orca up in the Arctic,
  21. Still waiting for the orca believed to be in the big exclusive set that was allegedly cancelled from the last City Arctic theme (that introduced the mammoth and sabretooth tiger.) Meanwhile, we’ve seen a new mould hammerhead and new print great white, and now a new colour dolphin in the CMF leaks. All welcome but a limp dorsal fin compared with the fabled orca!
  22. Haha as if you’d hesitate over that minifig for the price of a coffee. Cmon ‘fess up, where have you put up the Mando “THIS IS THE WAY” poster?
  23. I found it boring and at times painful watching to be honest, not helped by the presenter opposite a monotone Rok. They should have used Ali Plumb. Will be interesting to see if the next Architecture set 21056, which a leak suggests is coming next August at $129.99, is in fact a scaled-down Colosseum.
  24. Lost interest in collecting each series and the last few years the numbers becoming “must haves” has been dropping significantly. Quality over quantity. Its the same here except now down to 3... 1. The Beekeeper is a fantastic minifig and shows someone with imagination is still involved. 2. The Jaguar Warrior looks great too if a little similar to the Aztec Warrior from S7 (who he’ll join in the Jungle/Plane Crash diorama shelf). 3. And finally the Castaway and Hermit Crab, although I’m disappointed that they didn’t opt for a nougat recolour for the hair/beard given the sun exposure.
