Thanks LegoSjaak! Knowing how much you like modulars (like most AFOLs) is very inspiriting that you like this design. It would be very cool to see an XL version for your beautiful town. Thanks Nightfall. You do me too much honor. Thanks kjm161. I find exteriors to be a bit more challenging so I'm glad you like the facade and look of the building from the outside. Thanks! Lightningtiger, thank you. That means a lot. You are too kind. Your hardware store is absolutely fantastic and I'm honored you like mine as well. I love your details and the brick built objects you came up with were genius. Your build is inspiring and really pushed my creativity while building this. Thank you. Thank you so much Ogist! I was really not expecting this level of praise. Your support is very moving, thank you Ogist. Thanks Jalemac. Far too kind. I'm glad you like the photos as well, lots of physical work and second guessing whether I should keep shooting. Your praise is very motivating and stirring, thank you. Thanks RogerSmith. I can certainly see the feeling that the living room/kitchen are a bit empty. I did want to put something near the front windows and had a few ideas but didn't want to block out the windows and kind of like the more open and minimalist feel to it, probably just a projection of personal desire for more living space in real life. I may keep pondering ideas for the kitchen/living room and will update if something good comes to mind. Thanks again. Thanks SwissBrick. I really appreciate your fondness of the design and thinking it harkens back to the older larger more grand modulars is very touching. Thank you SwissBrick! Thanks cold_fuzion. I'm always happy to share a design and I am overwhelmed by the appreciation. Thank you. Thanks everyone. Thank you Sander1992. I really appreciate the love. Thanks!

Thanks! I'm glad you like the interiors. The lighting on the first two exterior shots is a tad harsh and results in a bit of a flat image with no depth of light. It may benefit from sand yellow there but one person's sameness problem change often results in another's 'too much color'. But again glad you like the interiors and thanks for the appreciation and if it works good in sand yellow I'll be sure to share it. 1_D4C1192 by Scott L, on Flickr Thanks Carebear! I'm a big fan of your work so I'm glad you like this.

Wow this is so cool! Love it! Especially the surrounding cityscape and all the extra details. Fantastic MOC and the video of it working is great. Also a shout out to Los Angeles but LA's funicular is perpetually broken.

Astonishing. Absolutely incredible and amazing work you've done. You and your build will be remembered forever in the Lego records. 100% master builder. Its gorgeous. You should have your own display day in front of the real thing.

Carebear you wow us again! This is awesome. The size and scale is downright impressive and as always your MOCs are loaded top to bottom with incredible detail. Fantastic build.

Anyone saying they'd support these thieves that undermine what we love because they're mad about women getting one set should be ashamed of themselves.

That is brilliant and it looks like it works flawlessly. Great design!

Wow that is amazing, great MOC! Especially like the ears and nose. Perfect build, bravo!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 17 Rumors and Discussion
koalayummies replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thank you so much K_Tiger and kastorskorner! I used that inventory check site and found some at a Walmart that was a bit of a drive. I've never had new CMF this early and sometimes have to resort to ebay/amazon. Got everything I was after (never really want all of them) except the hot dog vendor. Definitely felt the hat on several bags and I thought I already put one in my basket but wound up mistaking the hot dog piece for Highwayman's pistol doh. Also didn't want the mime baguette guy so two blind bag grope fails this time. But thanks again for all the CMF hunting intelligence! Favorite: Veterinarian, Elf [princess? queen?] and Baker, didn't know the baker has two faces. And the highwayman is pretty evil looking for Lego.- 1,421 replies

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 17 Rumors and Discussion
koalayummies replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks K_Tiger. That's probably why I've never seen them at either Target or Walmart, usually just a cursory walk down the Lego aisle on the way to the checkout. I'll take closer looks at end caps and other areas.- 1,421 replies

Simply beautiful. The style is wonderful, warm and cozy. Has a charming and stirring middle-earth-shire feel to it. Fantastic MOC!

Fantastic fun little modular and entertaining comic book style stories. Love the photography and great building!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 17 Rumors and Discussion

Kastorskorner you're so lucky! Where's an antsy/eager anticipation smiley face. This will have to do. Where in a typical Walmart store do they normally have the CMF? I've never seen them at Target and they're always at the registers or customer service counter at Toys R Us.- 1,421 replies

Beautiful video and great footage. Now I want to see more of you mountaineering. Is that where you live, surrounded by that landscape?- 17 replies

They won't listen to posts about forum rules like that. They've been making a new 'what should I buy' thread every 5 days. Pushing fantastic MOCs to the back in order to post about their indecision. But to answer the question Green Grocer, Fire Brigade and Town Hall all look the best next to Parisian Restaurant, nothing else looks good . Now hopefully there won't be a 'what should I buy' thread from OP next week as these are quite pricey.

I've said it before but I love your CMF ideas and renderings. How come TLG doesn't have you on contract as a Minifigure designer. Such strong ideas and beautiful representations.

Our FIRST ever MOC- Police Station Modular *UPDATED*
koalayummies replied to swisstony's topic in LEGO Town
Echoing all the comments of praise here, fantastic and well done modular. Its and excellent and a very complete police station unlike many of the official Lego city sets. The modulars need a police station like this. Great MOC. -
Yes, you've made three separate threads each one asking whether you should buy :insert set: or a second horizon express. Just buy both and stop making the same thread or post to your hearts content here: "There seems to be a flood of "What should I buy" type topics lately. The problem with these topics is that if everyone made one over ever purchase the forum would become unreadable. Thus to solve this problem this topic has been created to be the new home for all such questions."

Amazing. The details top to bottom inside and out are amazing. As a mechanic you made one heck of a realistic garage. The air compressor, the toolboxes and workbenches, that drill-press!
-
Wow that is incredibly cool and different. Love it and can't wait to see more!
-
That is a very elegant exterior, very very pretty and excellent and ingenious use of a lot of SNOT techniques. Can't wait to see the inside!

Fantastic large warehouse hardware store. The shelves are awesome and all of the clever brick-built details are fantastic. Those shelving bins, chainsaw and those brilliant chemical containers. It really captures the large hardware store style, great MOC!
