Seems like the interest in this series is subsiding to the point where those who missed out or had a hard time finding the figures they wanted can finally locate some. Local toys R us still have plenty of boxes of Series 16 (while no Series 17) so was finally able to get some Rogues. There were still plenty of Banana suits, Penguin boys and Mariachis so either they were fresh boxes or the interest has significantly waned.

Screw the main battle, that hiker sucks. I've seen him. He's always littering the trails, getting lost and calling for help because he got in way over his pompous gelled hair head. What a piece of crap. Welder keeps it real, blue collar, fabricating amazing things from metal, no time for backpacking.

Hahaha, that thing looks like such garbage compared to what Lego makes now. Great example of how far Lego has come. The current 6-wide City vehicles match pretty well with the modular building scale, redesigning vehicles for one modified set's parking lot is a weird way to solve an uncommon problem. Personally would just return it to the original 10224 since its much better that way. Can't believe that person has made almost $2,000 selling those consulate instructions.

Downright beautiful tugboat and the dock scenery is absolutely gorgeous. Fantastic building!

I thought a musketeer was a soldier equipped with a musket fighting in line infantry as per the definition, not an ineffective non-bladed stabbing rapier with a ball on the end and ugly hat.

Cost and Space Effective Minifigure Storage/Display
koalayummies replied to BCC_LQ's topic in General LEGO Discussion
For those with modular buildings you can stuff them all in there, its free, keeps them dust and UV-exposure free, easy to get to and doesn't take up anymore space that isn't already being used. Also winds up looking like an absurd costume party: -
Astounding. One of the most beautiful MOC Modulars ever. A wonderful homage to French architecture and perfectly complete municipal town hall. Absolutely amazing.

Lots of Pizza Van mods lately so I figured I'd share mine. Mod notes: Lowered ride height (by 1 plate), slightly longer (larger cab and kitchen), resigned front and rear, cab cushioned seating, cab instrument panel, transparent glass replacement to match with modular buildings, two ovens, larger pizza preparation countertop, kitchen roof ventilation, additional lighting in kitchen and awnings. Pizza by the slice, pizza preparation, to-go boxes: More comfy cab, padded seating, armrest, instrument panel:

I voted for consistent poll length times and runoff elections in the event of a tie. The inconsistent poll openings, polling lengths and next-vote-in-wins is disenfranchisement.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 17 Rumors and Discussion

Yeah the hole on the blaster is just a tad too tiny. It was a good thought, would have been pretty interesting.- 1,421 replies

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 17 Rumors and Discussion
koalayummies replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Just tried it, doesn't fit for me. You might be able to seriously force it but it would probably permanently alter the blaster.- 1,421 replies

Wow, I don't have that character so I never knew that it was like that. That seems like a horrible and hastily rushed design. The old 1990s Islanders king mask was way better.

As someone who despises monarchies and royalty a large part of myself is disgusted that I like that figure so much but it's one of my favorites. Its the whole package of details throughout with great printing, awesome hairpiece/crown and the two piece cape (cloak?) makes it an aesthetically complete figure along with the counterpart queen. But since its a rich gaudy king the Rogue can slay him and redistribute his wealth (with the urging of the Forestmen) while the people rise up and establish a representative democracy. TLDR: I really have no idea, its just cool.

[MOC] Casa Cartagena (colonial style building)
koalayummies replied to diegoflorez84's topic in LEGO Town
Its pretty. However I would be careful about mixing yellow minifigures, which are supposed to represent a uniform neutral skin color, with the licensed-style representational skin colors. It looks weird and singles out the one skin color especially when that figure is described as 'the local native who sell fruits'. -
This list might seem strange but here goes: 1: Pizza Van 2: CMF Series 17 Veterinarian 3: CMF Series 17 Gourmet Chef even though I don't like pie 4: Star Wars Y Wing even though its already disassembled for parts 5: Saturn V (don't own otherwise it'd probably be #1) End of year: 1: Ninjago City (if its as enjoyable as it looks) 2: Pizza Van 3: Old Fishing store 4: CMF Veterinarian 5: 42064 Ocean Explorer if its ever going to be available in North America? No? Ok then no fifth rank.

LEGO Ninjago 2017 Discussion
koalayummies replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Agreed. Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters is a decent comparison, ~200 fewer pieces, half the minifigures, far less diverse color palette and piece variety yet its $50 more than this. This Ninjago City seems like much better price. -
LEGO Ninjago 2017 Discussion

Great, now I have to see the movie. This true to Japanese city jam-packed hodgepodge is very cool looking. The pieces and colors are fantastic. Puffer fish balloon deserves a special mention. Ninjago City is wonderful blend of awesome insanity. -
LEGO Ideas Discussion
koalayummies replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in General LEGO Discussion
You don't, and by asking that question you are probably one of the good ones. Which also means you'll never beat those with no shame. Social media is a world of immodest self-promotion. The ones who win at this don't care what anyone else thinks, they post, repost, bump and inevitably spam without regard everywhere. You effectively glue your internet connected devices to your hands and eyes while channeling the spirit of the kardashians, narcissism, excessive drive for fame and notoriety through overbearing means and above all never look back. If you have a fully functioning frontal lobe your chances are slim. The good news is your train is in-line with one of the two dominant trends of people fervently supporting and Ideas almost exclusively selecting anything nostalgic. The whole world has eaten the member berries, for example: old television shows, old movies, old bands, old cars, old spacecraft etc. Member back to the future? So your old train fits right in, just need to add content that requires licensing because 68% of all Lego Ideas sets are based upon existing licenses or intellectual property. Lego rehashed ideas. End of disenchantment. I supported your project. -
True, while most of the other rounds get 24 hours. Hopefully Itaria shares with us some photos from the trip to Billund.
