Hahaha the video is great all I can do is laugh thats how cool and realistic this is. Absolutely amazing and very fun to watch. Lego Ideas is more often than not a letdown but at least there are many Lego fans who are willing to share their ideas even if they won't get a very small piece of the Lego sales pie or fame. In a way I think its better and I end up remembering the creator and where I saw a design moreso than if its an official Lego supported idea. The free sharing of ideas ends up being better if it doesn't get the support, which few do, and or Lego winds up not approving it anyway. Simply fantastic MOC throughout. Very fun to watch and I would love to build something like this someday.

Supported, even though the vast majority of Lego Ideas supporters only want more volkswagen creator cars or random items from entertainment franchises that require licensing. Still gotta show support for an awesome Eurobricks train submission. Beautiful engines and cars.

Stunning. Endless details and things to look at in this four story monstrosity. Theres always a critic for everything but I'll go ahead and say I love everything about it and wouldn't change a thing. Like everything you build the details and beauty in this one are seemingly endless. Is bigfoot brushing the teeth of the garage monster or feeding it a broom? The happy cheery characters heads on display, a pastry bar and movies, bigfoots drinking in public with scissors, just awesome. Great build as always Carebear.

Oh ok, awesome. Didn't mean for that to distract. Once again great MOC, you made a really realistic recreation especially for the small scale which is always more difficult. Great work and awesome and challenging choice of aircraft to build in Lego.

How do you display your modular building collection?
koalayummies replied to yanathin's topic in LEGO Town
The townhouse side 3rd floor placement is off by a few studs back, needs to go forward. The gap between the 2nd floor bay windows and 3rd floor, does it still fit if placed how it should be. And if Detectives Office is placed on the other side does it contact the hinge? -
Did the 7 and the 1 get switched around on the baseplate? SR-17 Birdblack. Looks are pretty spot on. Might want to put quotes around the copied text and direct link to the text-cited page SR-71 Blackbird Wikipedia. Nice MOC!

This is so cool and incredibly accurate. I'm sure Judy would have loved to have gears 2-4. The fully independent suspension, spinning lights, functional remote control, absolutely flawless and super-clean MOC recreation. 'Ready to make the world a better place?!' What franchise should Lego do next?
koalayummies replied to frikandeloorlog's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Lego should reduce the number of licensed products and focus more on original ideas and themes. I thought this thread looked familiar, a couple threads down from this one, same exact thread same suggestions but 11 pages long. -
The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
koalayummies replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Oh my goodness! I did not know that. I just had to read up all about it and that comic, thats crazy (a cracked article summarizes it in a strangely comedic manner). I think your theory is completely sound, thats probably exactly how it went down. -
You bumped an old thread just to tell the creator that you think they should rebuild it differently. Fantastic modular. Love it throughout, the restaurant looks fantastic and the apartment is great. The recessed cabinet bricks are great and the counter detail for the restaurant look spot on from the real thing. Wonderful MOC Modular.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
koalayummies replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'm a little surprised Lego made a figure of a character who is a sex worker or "escort". Wonder if they just thought it would be a great use of the bunny headpiece without digging a little deeper, like a rabbit. Links are safe, goes to jaysbrickblog and batmanwikia respectively for info on this somewhat obscure Batman character. -
60052 can be easily modified to make it a little longer which really helps it look more realistic. I believe member paperballpark did that and it looks fantastic. Here's another option since you like the GP-40 builds, this member made a how-to with instructions and a lot of tips on how to make one as inexpensively as possible using common less expensive colored bricks: "(2) With the lack of a "Creator Expert" train on the market right now, provide an affordable "gateway" build for new AFOL train fans looking for something more meaty than the city train sets. (3) Since this is meant to be a gateway MOD, keep the parts costs as low as possible. As of this writing, probably over $100 worth of the parts for this build can be found in set 60052."

Because batman: "lies about who he is, lives off his parents' fortune, drives a souped-up 1955 Lincoln Futura, flaunts his expensive gadgets, has a butler in his man cave, backs into parking spaces and punches penguins"-John Atkinson, Wrong Hands.

Absolutely beautiful. So when can we move in? Oh wait this is made of Lego?! It looks so real throughout, brilliant use of pieces and great techniques. Fantastic build.

Doesn't seem to reply to own threads so its this roof tile: http://brickset.com/parts/6084644 And this torso: http://brickset.com/parts/6135569 Though this might be preferable to the Ballerina torso: http://brickset.com/parts/6000844

Haha these are great, what a fun and hilarious idea. Police cow and an armed octopus. Also I love every time someone brings up Paradisa, a certain former US Sheriff would love the outdoor cells and use of pink. How about some Rock Raiders Police, an absurd theme on top of an absurd theme. Classic Ninja or castle police, Time Cruisers police.

Class class class over there on site in discussion. Posters openly talking about returning Lego sets after taking the minifigures out and stealing loose pieces from "already opened" CMF bags. Eurobricks members getting screwed over by these very actions:

This is really cool. Its more realistic looking than a lot of official Lego sets and the functionality ("playability") looks awesome. I would love to try and build this. Fantastic MOC truck!
-
Wow this is amazing, where to begin. The motorization of everything is so cool and the plethora of rides and functionality is impressive. Amazing collection of MOC rides. Fantastic builds and amazing amusement park.

You can get the other train wheel that uses the Technic axle. Some don't like that one (because they use power functions and claim those wheels and axles have more resistance) but I actually prefer that style. http://brickset.com/parts/design-57999
-
Have you actually sold the minifigures for that price? I see a few of the listings but if people are actually paying those prices then they need help however that does bring the price per brick for the rest of the set down a lot.
-
Downright amazing, Master Builder all the way. Forget a brick count, at this size and scale its about weight Beautiful MOC.

I also don't care but I did notice on one of the recent Creator sets that has 3 different instruction books for the 3 builds. Two were of the same paper quality as normal but the third had noticeably different front/back page paper. Doesn't make a difference nor does it bother me. Older Lego instructions (early 90s) were of similar quality though, however Architecture, Ideas and modular building sets still have very nice instructions. Again not that it really matters at all. Certain environmental groups have been targeting and pressuring Lego and other toy manufacturers to be more environmentally friendly (as if they're the big bad polluters) and these are likely some of the results. Peer-pressured to cut ties with Shell and change paper suppliers for packaging and print materials. Next they'll demand Lego make bricks that are water-soluble.
