  1. Great projects! They look very realistic. What are the dimensions of the field? 100x200 studs? I see you have stewards. Do you plan to populate the stadium with supporters? Do you have a picture of your teams? I dream a while of building a soccer stadium myself, but until now I luckily can keep those ideas from getting too serious and thus pricey! Nevertheless I think sometimes of a Spionkop with fierce minifigures waving flags and some using prohibited pyrotechnics!
  2. Nice minifigure van! I love the curtains and interior! I also like the color variations, especially the sand green one. Thanks for your instructions. I plan to mod the next year creator surfer van into a 6 wide model. Now I'm looking even more forward to it!
  3. If it wasn't for the modular anniversary video I would start to fear there isn't comming a new modular. Or should I start worrying?
  4. Does anyone have an idea how long Ninjago City would be available? I can't make up my mind if I should buy it. It has so many nice elements, but I don't think it would fit in my collection of modulars. I would like to modify the set, but I want to be sure I would be able to do it before I buy the set. Thanks!
  5. Nice vehicle! Interesting to be able tosee the build. You chose fitting colors and the driver blends perfectly in! Do the catterpillar tracks drive smoothly?
  6. What a majestic building! It will make a great background for the stories you're planning to make.
  7. Nice effort. I'm surprised how soon you made this one up! I think it would look better between the other modulars without the tower. Nevertheless I prefer the looks and athmosphere of the original set. I'm going to start building mine right away! I've been looking forward to it so hard and so long!
  8. In Europe it's already a few hours the first of october! I'm ready to vote!
  9. A modular LEGO store, that's something I really look forward to! But I don't really get how big the set may be. I would be very surprised to see a modular set as a “gift with purchase”-set, like mentioned in the examples.
  10. I'm quite surprised by this set! I was expecting a rollercoaster as the next fairground set, but I didn't think they would release the rails in another earlier set. On the other hand I'm relieved... not feeling the urge to buy this set. I was preparing myself mentally for another expensive dtc set I wouldn't be able to resist buying, but I'm not tempted at all. The set looks fun as a fairground haunted house, but doesn't feel like it could handle the competition with other DTC sets aimed at AFOLs. It looks rather for a younger audience, but then again there's the very high price, probably because it's licensed and it has new parts for the rollercoaster. I guess this set is for the most loyal fans of LEGO Batman and the ones who don't have the patience to wait for the fairground rollercoaster and want to make their own first. If it only would be released before instead of a month after halloween, it would have made me slightly consider buying it to display it.
  11. Great work! I like how you kept the bridge and made the river run under the sidewalk. I was looking forward to the results of your effort! The Ninjago City set is fascinating with so many interesting elements that would be nice to see in a modular street. I'm thinking about buying a set to modify, just like you do, but I'm not sure how to handle it. I'm curious to see how you'll finish the build!
  12. It's impossible to draw that conclusion from those figures, as BB is older than AS. I guess the next modulars will be build on a single standard 32x32 baseplate again, as AS was a celebration edition. On the other hand I wouldn't mind an increased piece count, if that's necessary to give the designers more possibilities. I like the increased attention to the interior, but for me that's less important than the looks of the modulars. I prefer the idea behind the older modulars with less interior (that I try to make myself) above the design of the newer ones, even though I really like the looks of them. The newer ones feel to me more like a very nice looking facade, but with little accordance to what's behind the wall. In BB the floor above the laundromat is in fact a part of the bank, in DO the 2 or even 3 different depicted buildings are actually one building on the inside. I prefer the 1 on 1 relation from the older modulars, even PS consists of 2 solid buildings.
  13. I love the Ice Cream minifigure, but she'll have a hard time walking with that stick!
  14. I just found and opened the bags of 2 of my 3 most favourite Ninjago minifigures. I have the impression the quality of this series isn't optimal. The joints feel looser compared to other minifigures and the painting doesn't look so good. It's a bit of a let down, especially when they cost so much. I was expecting premium quality.
  15. I think the car is very cute. Would it be possible to add LEGO car doors to this car? Do you consider putting stickers with a police logo on the car?
  16. I liked the first game very much, even though my most favourite minifigures didn't make it into the last rounds. For a next game I would suggest setting a fixed time span to vote. I've read several complaints the last semifinal lasted too long, but I'm rather sorry I have missed at least one round because it was closed so soon. That could mean my vote wouldn't have made a difference, but I would have liked to vote anyway. Thank you very much for organizing the game.
  17. The TV crew van is great! Well done!
  18. Could the Ninjago City set influence the future line, or do you think that's more of a spin-off? I can't wait to see modifications of it that fit in the modular street! I'm curious to see what we're getting next year! Last editions were all made up of multiple smaller buildings. Nice to have some like that, it adds some variation, especially in width, but I really hope the next modular goes back to one distinctive building. Does anyone expect a government building, a police station, a library, a museum or ...? An extra corner building would be very nice to set up my street.
  19. Nice modular town hall! I like the colors and details of the facade, the interior tiling is great, nice to see a diagonal pattern! I think the modular could benefit from a slightly higher ground floor. Perhaps you can add a row of windows above the lowest ones, just like in the town hall that was your inspiration. I think the result would blow everyone away! You make great modulars!
  20. I'm really fond of the color scheme of this carousel. It makes such a happy scene. It would be nice to have a carousel in my city, but LEGO is releasing so much great sets lately I can't keep up anymore. There are some tough choices to make. Does anyone know if there are pictures around of this carousel combined with the modulars. Regarding the dimensions and pictures with minifigures it looks the carousel is even bigger than some modulars, so I guess the carousel looks way oversized compared to them.
  21. Just like in the modulars the bricks with holes are placed nine studs from the edge of the baseplate and with 10 studs between them. On another picture I even saw the connectors are present in the set. It looks like the bricks with holes are placed directly on the baseplate, so I guess it's possible to connect the set with the modulars. On the other hand, there would be no continuity of the modular sidewalk and the water level will be above the sidewalk level due to the black bricks under the water tiles. I really like the set, but I don't know how it could fit next to the modulars due to these restrictions. It doesn't look this is ment to be a standalone set due to the modular aspects. Could we expect a new line of modular buildings within this theme?
  22. I think it's odd there's no minifigure in this round that I really like. It must be the first time in the second stage I have this feeling.
  23. Such an atmosphere! So many details. Impressive! I didn't dare to hope the interior would be so detailed. Even though I'm vegetarian, I want to have this fishing store!
  24. That was the site I used to order them, but I didn't dare to advertise on this site. They deliver fast. Don't forget a sealed bag (on the Lego site you can find them) costs €3,99 from now on. So I didn't mind buying a euro more for being certain I'd get the one I want.
  25. Since they aren't available in Belgium too, I have ordered the ones I wanted (veterinarian and connoisseur) online.
