The Bounty Hunter looks very pale compared to the first digital picture. With the bright colors contrasting on the black minifigure I thought he was incredible, but now I'm not that inclined anymore to get him. Maybe he will look better on higher quality pictures, but it's strange the color scheme is different. His face bothers me too, so weird.

What a great picture! Those crusaders look superb! I'm curious if we'll see a future set with them. Those shields are pretty hard to find!

I like Ghostly Knight's armour, but I think it's a shame he doesn't wear gloves, like Heroic Knight, Evil Knight and Frightening Knight all do. Now his hands are so specific what makes it impossible to just swap heads to make an undead version of him. The rugby player looks nice like he is. Personally I had hoped for other colors so I could have made him an opponent for the soccer player. Does anyone know if minifigure legs with a short and socks exist in other colors? I can't find them in other colors but white, or it are short unbendable legs.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Wesley D replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I still believe they are working on a hotel. - In the designer video of set 10260 Downtown Diner designer Mike Psiaki stated 'surprised' there wasn't a hotel yet. ("We don't have a hotel?!... We need a hotel!") - There is also said they are working on multiple modular buildings at a time. - There is the hotel bellhop minifigure in set 60200 Capital City. Normally parts from City sets aren't unique, but untill now it's the only set his torso is used for. I for sure would like to see a grand hotel in the future! -
I'm really excited for this new series! Finally they're going back to the roots. There a so much diverse but interesting minifigures in this series! It has been a very long time since I randomly bought blind bags of minifigures, as there were only some minifigures that interested me in the last series. It will be fun to get a lot of them and be surprised again! I can't wait for better pictures or, even better, the release.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Wesley D replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
I received an e-mail back from the customer service. They said there are technical issues with the Bricks & Pieces website they are trying to resolve. Therefore the service is closed. They proposed me to check the site back in a few days. In the meantime I have been able to make a large part order with e-mail, that finally has been handled off with a telephone call. I'm pretty curious if it will be possible to use them for parts orders on B&P. I have changed some VIP points into a voucher for a gift. When finishing the order on the regular online shop, it was possible to give in one code. That makes me think the total amount of discount will be limited per order. -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

I can't order pieces on Bricks & Pieces neither. I get the same message as you do. Buying sets in the online shop isn't a problem. It's very annoying as I have spent a lot of time making the selection over and over. I have sent them a message, but I didn't get an answer yet. -
Interesting to know the prices might go down with time, but I don't think I would dare to wait once a wanted piece gets available. A lot of animals are pretty rare, only released in one set or with a collectible minifigure, and it's never sure when and if it will be released again. I'm eagerly awaiting the little bird (48831) from set 41161. At the moment it isn't yet listed under Bricks & Pieces. Do such statuses change over time? Could this be linked to the Disney licence (I wouldn't be surprised to see the bird coming recolored with a Snow White minifigure) or is it rather because it's a recent element?

It's fun to see new animal moulds being released every now and then. I'm always looking out for them, but I think it is often hard to get them.

BrickHeadz 2019 - Rumours, Speculation and Discussion
Wesley D replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
Thanks for the insights. I'm going to find out if I can build them myself. Hopefully the building instructions for the Ghost will become available too! I'm curious how he's made looking floating.- 238 replies

BrickHeadz 2019 - Rumours, Speculation and Discussion
Wesley D replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
Spotting a discounted set today, I got interested in the Brickheadz series for the first time. Googling the new sets I really became enthousiast about the Easter Chick (40350) and the Ghost (40351). I see the Easter Chick isn't yet available over here and the Ghost hasn't been released. May I expect them to become available or is the theme discontinued? It would be a pity as I liked the idea but wasn't interested in the first Brickheadz because they only covered licensed themes.- 238 replies

REVIEW: 80101 Chinese New Year's Eve Dinner
Wesley D replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks for the review. It's nice to see such a warm family scene, even though this one is just ment for Chinese customers. I hope it will prove popular among them. Personally I think the dining table would look better with fish and crabs animal and other food moulds, I think the printed food tiles feel a bit old-fashioned. The bowls with rice look nice though! -
How many sets have you all already? How many sets does it takes before it gets overdone? Has anyone an idea what the chances are we could find the minifigure parts available sooner or later on Bricks & Pieces?

The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion
Wesley D replied to Fenghuang0296's topic in Special LEGO Themes
You are entitled to your opinion, but I still think there is little diversity in this series, with 4 licensed figures, 4 musicians looking alike and 3 costumes. I understand others can like this series much more and I'm glad for them, but it doesn't change me being underwhelmed by the selection of this series. About the Wizard of Oz figures: it's true they included classic literary characters before in the CMF series before, but here we get another licensed line-up, instead of LEGO's own interpretation of such characters, something I really liked before in the CMF series. I'm just not comfortable seeing regular yellow-skinned minifigures losing ground in the LEGO universe. It's just a fact the CMF series are more about licensed and costumed characters nowadays, the last regular one was series 17 in may 2017. -
I have bought my first squad today! If only Benny wasn't damaged and scratched but was a generic blue spaceman instead I would have bought the store's whole stock! He's a nice character, but I would feel to pity to get loads of copies of Benny that I wouldn't use. I'm going to assemble them right now!

The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion
Wesley D replied to Fenghuang0296's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Over here in Belgium they were finally available in the store (they were in stock since last week). On some sets there were even some nice discounts already! I have bought Benny's Space Squad. -
Impressive creations! Do you operate them or are they running programmed? Was it hard to design them? They could be taken for official Creator Expert Fairground rides if there would be some minifigures to hop on... if they would dare!

The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion
Wesley D replied to Fenghuang0296's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thank you for pointing out what was bothering me! Often licensed minifigures tend to be too detailed to my liking and compared with regular minifigures, what makes them less cute to me and I guess also less timeless. -
The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion
Wesley D replied to Fenghuang0296's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Exactly my point. In my opinion there should be diversity within each series, so everyone can find something that interests them. Costumed minifigures take up increasingly more places, last time a whole series, while for example we don't see historical minifigures anymore. We see existing characters returning in different clothings, preferably as crazy as possible. Especially all the variations of Batman made me cringe. Now the swamp creature shows dressed up, while the original one is one of my favorite minifigures ever that would have been a great collectible minifigure. It feels to me that simple but universal LEGO characters are lacking lately. I wouldn't mind seeing early characters being redone and updated or getting variations (like a soccer player from another team) instead of going ever more wacky. Now for this series, after seeing better pictures I think I might go for the singing girls as they look cheerful! -
The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion
Wesley D replied to Fenghuang0296's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Pff, really disappointed, another CMF series without a single minifigure I really want. Fans will like the Oz-themed minifigures, but I think it's strange they come within this series. When will we get a regular CMF series again with a minifigure for everyone? Ik guess they are indeed out of inspiration. -
The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion
Wesley D replied to Fenghuang0296's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I wasn't lucky, a toy store over here has the sets, but isn't allowed to sell them yet. I'm going to return for Benny's Space Squad. Emmet's Dream House looks fun, but expensive because of the rocket/dystopian elements. The DUPLO set is nice, but also expensive! For the rest I haven't much use. I hope the CMF series offers some figures in my interest: perhaps a red spaceman and a blue one with unbroken helmet and especially minifigures that go well with City. I loved the series of the first movie! The D2C set looks nice! I won't get it because of other interests. What I don't like is the inclusion of licensed figures in the movie. As if LEGO isn't interesting enough on its own! I expect the movie to be like the first. Colorful, fun and with LEGO specific jokes, but too (!) fast paced for me. -
You can ask a replacement part on Bricks & Pieces. I have had a missing piece, wrong pieces and a misprinted piece over the last years and they delivered me replacement parts! I'm very pleased with their support! Nevertheless I hope my Assembly Square (that I still have to unbox) doesn't miss any pieces! It's annoying to experience while building.

I don't think his arguments should be taken serious. If there aren't flat tires because the modulars are located in the utopian LEGO universe, like he responds improvising, then why would we need a veterinarian? There wouldn't be sick animals. A tiled ground floor would be nice, but would have driven the part count up. I don't mind tiling it myself, it was a part of the fun of the first modulars!

Last month I've ordered the parts to build a brick yellow and flame yellowish orange townhouse. I'm curious to see how that will turn out! The topic Assembling Bricksburg of Xon67 inspired me to go for different colored Pet Shop townhouses, but I'm unsure if I'll go later for pink, blue and other bright colors. I'm afraid they would might be too showy between the other modular buildings. It would be too expensive to go wrong. I've ordered my parts using a LDD file, found in this topic.
