  1. I like the window design! very clever.
  2. Looking good, I'd put the gun port covers with the hinge side up side next time. you are a tough one on that blue soldier though!
  3. Please don't hold back to give the constructive criticism. I appreciate that a lot. I've never participated in any of the other things going on before, don't hold back using the lessons for my sake :) But for me this BoBs got me back on here and being active with Lego, after being idle/sleeping for a long while, and I hope that it will keep me going and improve. The game part in it is the thing that will keep me going. I just picked up 70409 Shipwreck defence and 70410 Soldiers Outpost. Together they where (for me) the best option looking at price and bricks I got out of it. (I finally got some gold shoulder boards and blue coats :) They also had 70412 Soldiers Fort in the store, but I thought it was the lesser option. Only to bad that they always run the fancy minifigs in the expensive sets. Bart
  4. I want my warehouse to be in this city. Derr Merchant Warehouse now fill out the webform and that's it right? Bart
  5. Hello Sinbad, glad you received a warm welcome in the Nest :P :P
  6. Nice warehouse! I like the stone with wood/white on top (I don't k is the English name for that) But might be me but wasn't the first free build building artisan type not limited by 16x16 ? Or did I mid understood that? Bart
  7. Welcome! Our numbers are low, while other fractions are thriving, so plenty of ships to steal. Bart
  8. Dr Spock you are free to raid their ships, I guess that counts as donating :) Very nice fortress capt. Green Hair. I like the look that it appears to be mended quit some times. As long as their canons work it counts as an protection against I wanted visitors of Bastion.
  9. Then the chest might show up sometime too :) free build ships small? I thought they had a 32 studs water line limit too?
  10. I noticed that too. But I guess it makes for an explanation for the actions. And an easier back story. You don't have to deal with parental meddling as they aren't there any more. I think.
  11. SkaForHire thank you. I don't plan on doing a whole lot in LDD, but I just wanted to know if their option was there. I might do my freebuild ship in it. But I'll try in real bricks first. The magic thing was something that just popped up. I don't have story ideas for it yet. Bart
  12. Captain Dee, thank you. I think you got them all, so no need to post them into challenge topics. The questions weren't really challenge specific. (why I posted them here) There is plenty of time for it all, So now I'll have to gather some inspiration, as to how such action fit in to my characters story. Bart
  13. Sorry for the double post, but Questions::: Challenge I cat A & B Challenge II cat A & B Does that mean I have to can build 4 MOC's ? Are the categories combine-able? as in 1 moc for challenge 1 both complying with the guidelines of cat A and B ? Will the, to be won islands of challenge I, be given to winning fractions, before challenge II ends? Do I make them in separate topics? And then link them into the challenge topic just like the Freebuild? What is the stance on LDD? I don't have that specific type of native, can I use another? (I've got hula girls) (sorry if these questions are plain to some, but I never participated in GoH so I'm new to this) Bart Extra: Is there magic in this world? (or act of god if you are from Oleon)
  14. ah that could explain, a ship is high on my 'to build' list too. Bart
  15. I like this! very nice sails! reminds me that I can just print or draw a flag, instead of using two streamer bricks of an almost colour. I love the micro scale copy to make the perspective, very clever. I don't have any time till Wednesday Rodsh is still 5 days away from the attack position by that time that chest is either found or sunk I suspect. Bart
  16. Why is nobody signing up for the Sea Rats fraction? Is it not interesting enough? With the lack of military, royal houses, scientists, religion, trade companies? Bart
  17. Well if ETCW and MCTC go to war with each other or even are very competitive. They won't notice a pirate flying a false flag very soon. Bart
  18. I've used a head with glasses too on a warehouse clerk (Jacob), it helps stereotype a character. I like the introduction story. Bart
  19. Tomsche, become a pirate! no rules, you can build what ever you like, no colour issues either :) You can even build a blue coat fort/ship/outpost, as you are spying it trough your pirate spyglass :D
  20. those are a lot of apple details in an apple story :P Nice beach side house.
  21. ah BBCode, how did I miss that? (filter it out because I didn't know it?) test: DSCN5658 by Bart, on Flickr Ah past it, but not use the picture insert option (under the smiley symbol when making a post) Thanks!
  22. Hmm :/ that automatically saves it to my computer in that size. it doesn't show me something I can deeplink to EB.
  23. Sorry if this is in the wrong place, Did Flickr change? I used to be able to click on a photo and then it would show, with an option of amount of pixels x amount of pixels, but I can't seem to find that page? Now I can choose a share button, where it gives an (besides share and email) embed option where you can pick sizes. But then it gives an enormous link. How do I get the medium size pictures linkable to post on EB again? Bart
  24. You are all way to nice for me! Personally I like the scene of my introduction post better. click but I guess that topic isn't ment for responses much. There is more of the backstory of Rodsh there. Bart
  25. Fruits are on demand, they are being supplied to ships a lot! If they are fresh and have no weird spots Jacob can make you a nice price.
