  1. Love it!! Very recognizable. Love the head lights :)
  2. I love the fact you create your own music for your builds. There seems to be SO much underneath.
  3. +1.... I am not a fan at all of all this colour puke. Lol yes it does looks like wood!
  4. Hi Rishab, i cant see myself doing one in the near future. Not a fan of pushing my creations around, I absolutely love incorporating RC for funtions and it is tops for filming an edit.
  5. Very interesting framework. Seems quite original! btw, this car would be awesome motorized ?
  6. It has been a Pleasure working with you on the last car, can't wait to do it again. Untitled by lachlan cameron, on Flickr
  7. Thanks kmuffin, I have grown very much more in love with the real car after building this. I am trying to get a photo of the FXX with this car The combo for the flex axles is 2x 19 long axles with 14 3L beams running thru them. The true shape is created by the position on the #3 angled connectors. Hi Brunojj1, thanks. I feel I don't know what "clean" and not "clean" is in Lego because I am so new to this stuff. Thanks for the mention about the art, I found it fitting that this car fit in at my local skate park that inspires me so much! Hahaha You clearly know this car better than me. I am very grateful to bounce ideas off my brother who is super technical with real cars and can lend a mechanical hand to my issues. It truly does create much more of a car than I ever would have expected! If you saw some early photos of the attempts I had you would be amazed that this was the final product. Thanks Technic addict!! I'm so glad you built our FXX. I agree with the front being a bit too long, but it was hard to keep short with the curves I was trying to produce. Yes I will be doing instructions. Unfortunately, Doing the instructions could take over 15 - 20 hours.... lol It would look good in your collection wouldn't it? You may need a different place to put it, maybe an "Elite Supercar" shelf? If you would like to create Ldraw instructions for this car that would be awesome! Hi Milan, Yes I agree with the over hang. But according to the model, my wheel base between the wheels is to proper scale. The distance from the wheels to the front and back are 1-2 studs longer than the model. 8. I am pleased to announce my most challenging and rewarding build, the American supercar, the Hennessey Venom GT. Flickr photos: https://flic.kr/s/aHskNRp6jE MOC-Pages: http://www.mocpages.com/home.php/125898 IMG_1242 by lachlan cameron, on Flickr This build has a V8 twin turbo engine, a motorized rear wing, working steering wheel, 6x lights and a 8 inch GPS built into the center console. IMG_1089 by lachlan cameron, on Flickr This car has quite a few new ideas and build styles that I will definitely be pursuing in the future. IMG_1257 by lachlan cameron, on Flickr When I got stuck designing the front of the car, Dugald designed one of the front wheel wells. [thanks Bro!] IMG_1270 by lachlan cameron, on Flickr This car took about 2 months and has the most detail I have ever put into a car. So grab a cup of coffee, get comfy and enjoy the video! IMG_1274 by lachlan cameron, on Flickr Twin turbo and interior ;) IMG_1210 by lachlan cameron, on Flickr My new car in the driveway. Wish it were real.... IMG_1111 by lachlan cameron, on Flickr I am a much bigger fan of the Hennessey after researching the car for this build. The curves on this beast were incredibly hard to replicate, and now I know why not many others have tried it before in Technic Lego... IMG_1252 by lachlan cameron, on Flickr These Porsche wheels spread the weight of the car over the width of the tire and support this car SO much better than the old tires. Twin turbo with 1451 horse power IMG_1183 by lachlan cameron, on Flickr This supercar weighs 6.5 pounds or 2.95 kq, is 74 studs long X 19 tall x 29 in the front, 31 in the rear wide. 9. congrats on your first model! It has a great color scheme. Welcome to Euro-bricks!
  10. Everything looks so clean Paul!! I love the complex panel work around the lights at the front end, and the rear use of the curved panels above the engine. This is the best use of the new panels in a supercar yet imo. Please post a video soon!!
  11. Nice one Technic addict! Thorsten, very nice job on the color matching for red! image by lachlan cameron, on Flickr
  12. Wow, looks so much better in red. Great progress technic addict, keep us posted with this build!
  13. Great job on all the functions and having all of the motors hidden away so nicely. I liked the video too. Fun stuff !
  14. Agreed. I need to buy black fences, white was the only colour I had. Thanks to all for helping this car become something I never thought it would!
  15. Love the interior, and what I find interesting about this car is its so different. Even the colour scheme of the interior is rarely used. Would love to see a video. Congrats!!
  16. Wow Thorsten!! Incredible idea and looks so professional. Looks better than the original!
  17. Thank you again!! I have no clue how you know what type of part has what color. I guess it comes with a LOT of experience. I has been a fantastic experience working with you on these instructions Thorsten, you really are a great help, hard worker and extremely detailed.
  18. Thorsten, you have really outdone yourself. These are VERY professional instructions. You have even changed a few things in the instructions that makes this car ever better than before. I love the sticker pack you also created! This makes me want to build it again... I will never forget this. Thanks for all your hard work!! Wow, starting to build it already!? Will you be building a black version? Please post photos when you are done. Would love to see it from another builder.
  19. Very creative!! I like how you can barely tell it has power functions. Great steering design. Well done!
  20. Wow Thorsten, you are fast! Very much looking forward to the complete instructions and the process you developed to build the car.
  21. Wow, this is a cool car. So many clean lines and well thought out. Nice work
  22. That looks complicated. I would be lost in the software! I can see a #30 at the top of the photo, is that instruction step #30? Great progress!
  23. Hi Thorsten! Thanks again for the update, 10 of the exhaust pipes are 10 studs long, and 2 of the pipes are 8 long.
  24. This model is incredible!!! I just love everything you've packed into this little build. The 360 deg rotation absolutely blew me away. Congrats, and nice to see more technic members from Canada! Welcome!
