  1. An Italian shopkeeper I know told me it is indeed Claas lime. Hope he's right
  2. Damn, I was hoping for 42008 green I just hope it's not a new shade of green - I'd be happy with either 42039 or 42054.
  3. That's a phenomenal build! Really well done
  4. I'm curious as to what new parts we can expect with this set - rims and panels aside, of course.
  5. Nice! I used something similar (crossed with Didumus' 90° stepper) in my plum picker. Works a charm, especially - as you said - geared down 3:1.
  6. Damn, you're right All the more impressive. And I prefer your model over the original.
  7. That's a phenomenal build And it's all the more impressive considering your age. Keep up the great work!
  8. I think you'd be better off mounting the L motors parallel to the tracks. You'd have one gear mesh less, hence less friction; and you could use the L motors to add structural stiffness to the carrier's critical points.
  9. After seeing this and taking a closer look at what seems to be a barely working steering setup (indicative of bad design, dodgy parts or both), I'm seriously second-guessing the legitimacy of the model. Thoughts, @Jim?
  10. In the words of the great Pythagoras, «'sti gran cazzi»
  11. Awesome excavator Have you got any WIP pictures or pictures of the internal mechanisms?
  12. For some people - me included - it's not so much about realism as it is about building what you like. Just my two virus-deflated eurocents.
  13. Phenomenal work You've inspired me to try my hand at something like this.
  14. Thank you! Yes, the mechanism is the same as 42009's. Ha, that car is kind of hideous I have no sense of aesthetics so ugliness comes quite naturally Thank you, my friend. I live in Lombardy, Italy's hardest-hit region - as of today, we've had more deaths than all of China. On the bright side, lockdown means more time with kitties and Lego Thank you! I'm having second thoughts about those exhausts, too - I put them there to cover a gap in the panelling but they actually look worse than the flaw they're meant to conceal
  15. Love it, and the Liebherr livery really suits it
  16. Loved it before, head-over-heels in love with it now
