  1. Phenomenal job - love the looks and the huge amount of functions
  2. This is awesome! Looking forward to seeing more progress.
  3. For what it's worth, Jeroen's LTM11200 has just one XL to drive it, so two XLs aren't really necessary unless you plan on using the model for off-roading et similia.
  4. Built it in white just for kicks. Some details are missing due to lack of parts and overabundance of laziness.
  5. Such a clean build and packed with cool functions! Hats off to you, sir.
  6. Someone posted a solution to the eight-channel limit a few years ago - I'll link it if I find it. I think you may have misunderstood the use of the wave selector I proposed - it can be easily remote-controlled, hence your model would still be fully remote-controlled too, without requiring so many motors and saving quite a bit of space and weight.
  7. How many motors and IR receivers have you got exactly? Three motors are all you need for eight RC functions, provided you have the orange wave selector.
  8. I got .35 mm (26 kg) gauge but I reckon even .12 mm should work fine unless you need the line to resist stress exceeding 7 kg.
  9. I use this braided fishing line. It's relatively cheap and extremely durable. https://www.decathlon.de/p/hauptschnur-geflochten-tx4-300-m-grun/_/R-p-149183?mc=8353486
  10. The length is actually from mid-first hole to mid-last hole, so always add 1 to your Pythagorean triangles to get Lego equivalents.
  11. For what it's worth, I'm building it in white.
  12. Brilliant! Thanks for sharing and for taking the time to explain how it works, making it easier for other builders to develop their own ideas.
  13. I'm surprised those three z8 gears are the issue. I used the same exact technique in one of my tow trucks and it still works fine even after a year of relentless manhandling.
  14. Simple, ingenious and it opens up new livery possibilities. Thank you!
  15. It's a disgrace! And what have the Romans ever done for us? Cheers dude, thanks
  16. @Ngoc Nguyen When the wheels are extended, how much clearance is there between ground and battery box?
  17. I'm working on it but using the LiPo battery box, which I guess is a bit of a cheat.
  18. Thought it'd be worse. Anyway, you're owed a few beers whenever you visit northern Italy or southern Switzerland.
  19. How much is this going to set you back, though?
