  1. Really cool that Koenigsegg noticed this epic creation, I was there for some of the live streams, they were fun to watch.
  2. This is quite massive, did any drive-chain parts break? I'm surprised that soft springs were able to keep it suspended, I thought they would be way to soft.
  3. I like these new sets, the 42069 (I think that's its number) looks cool with the purple color, also 42070 has the new blue color which will mean a lot of new MOC's coming out in that color, and dont forget the #3 red connectors on the grill.
  4. I think it would be better if it showed nothing if it was a thread you have not viewed but it just has the title in BOLD. then it could have a LBG #1 connector if you had commented on it and a DBG #1 if you had commented on it and it was unread.
  5. Sorry to be mean but this is very unrealistic, the JK8 from what I can tell is basically a Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep Wrangler has a 4x4 drive with live axles, not independent or pendular. Here is the front axle (Left( and the rear (Right) I would recommend trying to rebuild the suspension to make it more realistic.
  6. Agreed, with the rise of 3D printing I think that using non-Lego motors will increase, it would be cool if someone took the next step from using a 3D printer to making injection molded plastic parts to fit Lego but that may be a long ways off.
  7. Looks good, do the anti-roll bar links slide out? it seems like the ball pins would because of the angle.
  8. Very nice MOD, I like the banana man for scale
  9. Has anyone disassembled a 32181 Lego 10L dampener before? I want too to make the dampening effect more like a real shock but I was wondering if trying to dissemble it would cause damage.
  10. Overall I'm not a big fan of the bodywork but the original is not great looking so you did a good job The way you went around the servo motor is cool but I think in the render the dark grey gear should be one more down unless I'm missing something. Did it have any problems with torque? it seemed to have trouble going over obstacles in the video.
  11. Agreed, that would look awesome. Personally I like the black version better.
  12. I have designed a 20T single bevel because besides the 14T gear, they are the weakest, from my experience. https://www.shapeways.com/product/FBXCMPMNK/lego-20t-gear-single-bevel
  13. Stunning creation, HOF quality, the only nit-pick I can say is the front is mainly flex axles while the back is almost completely panels.
  14. I have designed another servo horn to fit THIS servo, it has a much smaller output then the standard servo I designed the other one for and has 21 teeth opposed to the 24 teeth of my last one so it did not work. https://www.shapeways.com/product/JTXKFT35T/lego-technic-servo-horn-21-spline
  15. Try going to your models, you can access it by going to the top right of the screen and hovering over your profile picture and clicking on 'models'. It then should bring you to where your designs are stored so then you can edit them. Click on the model and find "Edit project with this model" (on the right side opposite from the name) and click that and click on what comes up below it. On the next page it brings up the top option should be "offer for sale to others" and "display to the public". Check both of those and it should then come up for sale.
  16. I have the un-chamfered ones and I noticed one thing, the holes do not allow for pins or axles with stops to be flush with the hole, so I would recommend using the chamfered ones if you need to use the holes with pins frequently. The holes not having a place for pins to rest will shorten the life of them but not noticeably.
  17. Ok that makes sense, why not use a Nimh battery at 7.2V, I have a 2000mah and a 5000mah, both work very well.
  18. Wow that is a quite high torque motor, would you mind making a video? It sounds really cool. I don't know the KV of my motor because its a brushed motor but I think a 540 brushless like @PorkyMonster used will do the job for larger scale like 1/10 scale models, but since it is larger it really limits your options if you want to build small (for me at least). I would recommend using a 380 sized brushless motor for models for anything smaller then 1/10 scale because those motors are small and have quite a kick. Amazon is where I bought my parts but I bet you can get them much cheaper on RC planet or other stores.
  19. I really like this car but there is one thing off to me about it, the roof-windshield. The front looks very nice and round but when you get farther back to the windshield it is very square along with the hood, it looks like it should have scissor doors but it does not because of the large gaps.
  20. Same here, I like the long nose better, it gives it a more menacing look. This was most likely answered in the tread earlier but why are there motorcycle tires on the Porsche rims? are they just placeholders?
