  1. After about 5 months of having the CV-type joints based off 8880 I have finally broken one. I have used them with three of my RC's using hobby grade electronics and I noticed that the little nubs to hold the lego part were wearing thin and soon after I hit a rock in the middle of the road and it was the end of the road for that part (no pun intended) I am very impressed with the durability of that part because of how long it lasted, I was planning on buying more but efferman seems to have taken them off his shop CV joint by JJ2Sam, on Flickr
  2. Ok, you will need to take it apart, I don't think taking apart a 9398 will be very difficult though. For taking the servo apart you need to cut the plastic in front of the DBG clips to allow the DBG part to slide out of the LBG housing. Don't try to push the clips to disassemble it, it want work, I tried.
  3. What do you mean by that? is it in a MOC
  4. Is the wire damaged near where is enters the servo? I would recommend opening it up with an Xacto knife then checking the inside.
  5. Whats wrong with your servo? does is only turn one way or not work at all, or get stuck?
  6. I would probably put a tire on the hub in the center so stabilize the parts more if you were not already doing that.
  7. Congratulations @Milan on the promotion
  8. I like the 3L fiction pin
  9. @mwnilsson Welcome to Eurobricks! They do indeed break the speed record but they don't steer, is that to make them as simple as possible or not enough space? Maybe a simple 7L gear-rack and 12T gear would work.
  10. I have found a more efficient way of doing this, granted its not Lego but a 4x11x4mm bearing fits perfectly in the spot you put the mini wheel piece, the bearing will make it run very smooth and be flush on the flat part.
  11. Your Pitman arm is not long enough, make it a 3L or 2.5L using cams.
  12. Can you post a picture? I'm guessing that the drag link has too much of a vertical angle, you want it too be at horizontal as possible to minimize bump steer.
  13. Cool idea but there are 3 advertisements on your intro, the one in the corner, the one in the middle of the screen, and it says it in the intro, its very distracting, try making one in powerpoint.
  14. Ugh, I think I even read that thread, completely slipped my mind
  15. Just add one to my wish-list of MOC's I want to build, and modify The front looks very realistic, I like the small touches like the orange, I think they are chain mounting points, that you added. At first I thought that you made the bed really shallow because of space constraints but it appears the real thing is like that too.
  16. Amazing model, I really like how you took the time to make realistic extra functions, like the door-hood and tailgate latches. The rear tail lights look very good, they almost look like 1 molded piece for this MOC. I'm curious about your next model you mentioned in the video.
  17. Poor truck, the self righting system Is a cool touch, got to have that for the horizontal spinner-bots. Why the U-J's in-between the wheels and motor?
  18. According to Rebrickable I have 1,285 spare parts not in sets just from my bricklink orders I have made, I'll add about 5k to that from other garage sale buys and round up to say about 6.5k spare parts, probably less though.
  19. Yes, I know, and they have done a cruddy job about it too. Let's not talk about Lepin though, the forum does not really like that,
  20. I found another one, Madoca's avtoros shaman seems to be a popular video to steal.
  21. That would look cool, are the scales the same? I would like to get into construction MOC's and building terrain for them to be around but my wallet does not allow.
  22. Amazing progress! It looks really good for not using many flex-axles or any at all,
  23. I almost like the blue color more then yellow but yellow is more mainstream and would look much better in a construction diorama if your into that type of thing.
