  1. I've registered and commented. Great work so far!
  2. How do you sign in without making a blog for myself via the word-press site? I wanted to congratulate you guys but can't seems to find out how to do so on your site!
  3. I've just built a micro scale version of this ship for my space station. The ship has three engines, a quad-turret, and two canopies. What do you think?
  4. I've just built a micro scale version of this ship for my space station. The ship has three engines, a quad-turret, and two canopies.
  5. Thank you! The real life model has has all it's pictures added to the first post. I hope you enjoy them!
  6. I originally wanted to post this car model beside a building model, but since I've been struggling to come up with something new, I thought why not just let it be posted by itself. You can also build this car in red instead of tan, but since I've already made so many red vehicles, I decided on tan instead. This car was originally based on the car from set 10232, (Palace Cinema) along with a front grille inspired by set 70906 (The Joker Notorious Low-rider) and a rear partially taken from the SHIELD car "Lola" in set 76077. (Iron Man: Detroit Steel strikes) The rear features a spare tire. The car features seating for two mini figures, as shown above. (Bob and Rob mini-figures not included in LDD file) As before, but without the mini figures. The seats are built on 1 x 2 jumper tiles, and the panels allow for the mini-figure's arms and legs to fit with this odd spacing. The LDD file (for the car only) is available here. Comments, questions, & complaints are always welcome!
  7. The Vladek's parts were purchased yesterday (Christmas day), and should be built in real life by January 10th(ish). I have updated the entire page's pictures and text to reflect the newer model's features. The ldd file has also been changed to reflect this. The crew has already bee assembled from Lone Ranger soldiers and their officer, with a new Admirals hat from a Ninjago set I got for Christmas. Just waiting on the ship now!
  8. The winds of fate are changing, the tides of the sea of time are turning dark, and terrible danger is looming just beyond the horizon... ...something evil is building!
  9. Thank you! I've just updated the thread with pictures of the brick builds. I hope you like them!
  10. Thank you! I should have this built by the middle of January... maybe sooner. The car to be used has been replaced with this one here, which I already have built.
  11. Real life pictures added, sorry for the three day wait.
  12. If you have a singe Emerald Night-style single axle pony truck at the front, and a four wheel EN-style bogie in the back (like my train), then it's BFBF. I learned the blind wheels work best next to a pony truck, while the bogie works better next to a flanged wheel. However, their are ways to do this differently, such as a a pony truck next to a flanged wheel, but then you have to do what Anthony Sava did on his Berkshire and draw-bar the pony truck underneath from the second driver (a flanged wheel, as seen above) From my experience, blind wheels do NOT work next to pony trucks if hooked directly to the blind wheel EN-style. Every style I've just said has it's drawbacks, such as fragility (I'm looking at you draw-bar!). Just don't ask about the 2-10-4 Texas I made a while back.... I couldn't get that to work for the life of me, and i don't know why!
  13. Yes, I alternated blind drivers with flanged ones. However, as this picture shows, I forgot to test the loco with the tender attached, and now have to shorten the roof of the cab by one stud. (it bumps into the tender on the curves, especially switches!) And yes, the cars are MOT inspired (set 10015).
  14. UPDATE: Added a picture of Hachiroku24's car, and revised pictures of my model with his modified front bumper applied. The ldd file for my model has been added as well, but please note the real life pictures of my car will come tomorrow, as right now I'm exhausted and need to go to get some sleep.
  15. This 4-8-0 "Mastodon" type steam engine & it's six car freight train are hauling generic cargo on it's way to Anywhere, USA. This engine model was first built as a 2-8-2 Mikado (with running gear derived from Scotnick's 2-10-0 Decapod 9F) before having the front pony truck removed and a 4 wheel bogie from set 10194 (Emerald Night) added instead, turning it into a 4-8-0 Mastodon - type. The rear pony truck was removed as well, with the 79111-style boiler shortened and cab re-arranged. Together, these several different engines from four different eras and four separate builders come together to create this one 4-8-0 "Mastodon" type steam engine The coal tender was inspired by Anthony Sava's Pacific 4-6-2 model's oil tender with the letters "BRS" added in the middle of the tender using printed 1 x 1 tiles. I think the loco is much better proportioned to the tender now than before. In my fictional universe, the engine above pulls a generic mid-1900's freight train. This train consists of the following models: This drop side flat car was first part of set 2126 (Train Cars), but it didn't really have a purpose. It was hauling uprooted evergreen trees in the set, but that didn't look very good, so I changed it to generic freight. (My resident hobo usually catches a ride on this car.) This tanker car was inspired by set 7939 (Cargo Train, 2010 version) and by Anthony Sava's recent pick-a-brick MOC-up tanker car. (seen here.) I was inspired by this photo by JB Lego to build this boxcar (seen here ) They are made to haul generic freight, such as anything from unfinished car parts to prized paintings... and yes, the doors do open! Inspired by the green tractor trailer from CITY set 4204 (The Mine), this bathtub gondola is carrying boulders from the mine destined for the gold refinery where they will be opened up and the metal extracted to make coins and ingots. I have adapted this UK inspired model of a brake van by Fireglo450 (see it here ) to be a more American inspired caboose. The caboose has no interior, and the red marker light can go on either end of the model to represent the end of whatever train it is being hauled behind.
  16. After finding about 100+ parts for my Neo Nexus Force MOD of Benny's sSS! (70816), I have ordered the 600-odd parts seen above to finish the main model, + Benny's car + fix a cockpit error with the space fighters I already have... all for $115 US from three sellers. (before shipping and handling fees, of course) These are the parts I found in my bins for the spaceship. These models should be finished in a week and a half, maybe less. Any thoughts?
  17. Depends of whether you like the American-style engines (60052) or the European dual-cab locos (60098). You can always buy one then make the cars of the other set separately or buy them from Brick-link individually by car from certain sellers. Does this help?
  18. The ldd file has been added since MOCpages is back up! The pictures have been updated to include some change to the model I made, such as a expanded front porch and revised rear greenhouse. Enjoy!
  19. I want an Adventurers themed movie with a bunch of insane models and crazy bad guys. Basically, I'm hoping beyond hope the "Billion Brick Race" movie is something akin to The Great Race or Monte Carlo or Bust! or even Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines so we have 1900 -1930's vehicles all clambering to get the prize..... whatever it is!
  20. This three level autorack was originally found on LGauge .com as seen here. I redesigned that model and added tiny automobiles to fit into the racks. I also recolored the yellow parts to dark gray to fit better with my other freight cars. There is a single plate worth of clearance between the automobiles and the rack above. The automobiles are attached using 2 x 3 plates, put they are removable... if you take the roof of the freight car off first! As usual, comments, questions and complaints are welcome, and the ldd file is here. Thanks for viewing!
  21. The cooked chickens are from 1997 to 2015 and the eggs are from the Angry Birds sets... sorry to burst you bubble!
  22. This build was based on LEGO set 4756 (called Shrieking Shack ) from the 2004 Harry Potter / Prisoner of Azkaban movie line, with a greenhouse from the C-model of the 2017 Creator set 31065 (Park Street Townhouse) and a sedan based on the one in the 2009 Indiana Jones set 7682 (Shanghai Chase). I also added a big front porch to complete the house's Victorian asthetic. The model swings open on two hinges, one for the main house so you can access the detailed inside, and a second in the greenhouse so you can open it up to place figures. Also, the front of the house is supposed to have a 1 x 1 number tile next to the front door, like this one here. In the original Harry Potter set there was a secret passage in the chimney, which I have removed. Also, the model locks shut on two Technic pins, just like most of my buildings. One pin is in the main part of the house, while another is in the green house. The inside features a bed, inspired by set 10228 (Monster Fighters' Haunted House) staircase with railing, couch, telephone, and phonograph. The kitchen area has a stove, sink, plus a table and two chairs. The greenhouse area was inspired by the similar version from the C-model of the 2017 Creator set 31065 (Park Street Townhouse). My version is a bit bigger with an eight stud wide window roof, whereas the original set has a 6 wide top. This model was based off of set 7682 (Shanghai Chase) from 2009, plus a sloped rear design inspired by the yellow car from set 10200 (Custom Car Garage). The model can seat two figures side by side and has opening doors. BUILDER'S NOTES: The LDD file is is available here. This page will will also be updated when the house is built in real life with real pictures. Any and all comments questions, and / or complaints are always welcome!
  23. Just added the newer real life pictures with the expanded landing pad. NOTE: purists be warned, I cut a 48 x 48 down to a 40 x 48 in order to fit this in my storage and carrying bin.
  24. Thanks! I just added the real life pictures to the main post so you can see the model better.
