  1. Same here with the added of similar colors, even if both look/are new, light grey and bley typically don't make it into same MOCs. Although there was one exception where the technic piece I was using for a differential only came in light grey. I will admit mixing the old and new lt/drk grays make for more realistic rock faces
  2. Must have been a different run. I was given the 10002 Club Car for my 13th Bday back in 2000. I was fortunate to buy a second hand 4547 a year or two ago. Both have printed doors and I believe the exact same build. I do believe there may be a variation in the "sink" tile (2x2 white tile. black hole). I have seen them in two different size holes. I will try and locate the two and compare
  3. July S@H: 10241 - Maersk Triple E 60045 - Police Patrol 60049 - Helicopter Transport & the monthly freebie of 5002127 Flashback Shredder
  4. This one may be my favorite. My grandpa had a '62 in these colors, though I never got to see it. This is still an awesome one to have. I live the detail in the chrome grill
  5. I can imagine. It doesn't have the sharpest or straightest lines
  6. Another fantastic super car. Great job constructing its face, looks quite intricate. You friends figs must be living the good life
  7. Fantastic MOC MichalPL! Great amount of detail
  8. Awesome MOC Gwail! You have quite a knack for building great LEGO versions of these cars. I hope more are coming, maybe a Viper?
  9. Can LEGO ban you from their products?
  10. Definitely 4559. I got this as my first and only train as a kid and loved it, the colors, build, and playability. Like Lazarus said, the other is very ugly and has a very simple, bulky build look. I'd only consider that set if I could get it for under $50USD
  11. Love it, every bit! It is quite a spread, I hope to see it expand
  12. Beautiful steamer Daedalus304
  13. Wonderful work Righty! Very detailed, I enjoyed seeing this. I really like your roadsters, as well, especially the white one with exposed engine
  14. This one is quite interesting. LEGO was featured on the Science channels new series World's Strangest episode "Strangest Places". Apparently Tony Kettle, the wheels lead architect, came up with the idea while "playing with his daughter", while he displayed a small, simple LEGO version of the wheel. So, LEGO helped create the Falkirk wheel?
  15. LEGO made another skit on the last weeks new Robot Chicken episode, "Panthropology". It was a spoof of World War Z "B (for Blocks)", where clone brands were attacking LEGO citizens. One of the funnier skits using LEGO IMO
  16. Awesome work, it's huge! Love the addition of tram and smaller HE. I also lreally like the work you put in at the base of the Eiffel Tower. Very nice
  17. Is it still "swooshing" if it is at a slow speed?
  18. Very impressive build, I really enjoy looking at this monster ship
  19. Fantastic station! I love the look of the front windows, they're very unique
  20. I think I'll stick with Popeye, this is a little too far out there... Bananas = superhero? I suppose he'll never cramp up
  21. We've had 3, a yellow one, a white one, and now a red one since 2009. All in a proper scale size compared to other City trucks. So, it's pretty easy
  22. Now the question is, will you build it as original or put the driver on the left side
  23. After not buying any LEGO since February, I placed an order for a bunch of vehicles including: 60033 Arctic Ice Crawler 60043 Prisoner Transport 60056 Tow Truck x2 60058 SUV with Watercraft 60059 Logging Truck x2 60060 Auto Transporter 60061 Airport Fire Truck 21108 Ghostbusters Ecto-1 and the June freebies 40108 Balloon Cart and some ticket offer
  24. Worse, not that I buy much LEGO at retail stores, but things behind glass are aggravating. That means you have to find someone with a key. Most of the time there is someone nearby, but there are numerous occasions at BalMart where I want to get razor head (which are now locked up) and I can't find a soul. Doing this with LEGO would be completely useless and expensive for a store. This example of razor heads being they are small, come 5 in a pack, and can reach up to $25-30/set. Nothing LEGO would be that small and cost that much that it runs a risk of being pocketed. Children usually don't think about stealing as opposed to a young adult. Besides have you ever walked down a LEGO isle? You know how much glass they'd have to put up? And what if your a mute
  25. Quite a project! I saw this video on the youtube a few years ago. It's really neat to see brick built on a large scale
