  1. I'd have to agree, modulars and creator houses are your best bet for buildings for MOCs or just regular models. Although, City does offer a couple small buildings in the Town Square set and Helicopter Arrest. The rest are either Police or Fire stations

  3. 2 Bricklink orders mainly for these wheels and tires
  4. Great work again de_marco
  5. I'd be quite content with a mastery of psychokinesis, especially transvection
  6. Like this! Terribly inefficient , but they stay protected. I will be looking into binders with those paper protectors
  7. Very nice layout dundarach
  8. This was my first minifig as well, although he came in the 1638 Basic Blue Bucket from 1990. He's still floating around somewhere
  9. Excellent SNOT work de-marco
  10. I've never really tried SNOT building hulls before. When building lager boats, I typically use those old hull pieces. I guess I'm stuck in the 90's when it comes to my shipyard . That 12W piece would have been my choice if it had a better top piece, like the 10W has. I do like how SNOT built hulls offer the unlimited freedom that make for more realistic, better looking vessels
  11. Very cool MOC! You did a fantastic job recreating it on a smaller scale. Great job
  12. Very impressive build Dfenz! It looks absolutely enormous and se detailed. Well done
  13. Wonderful job ivanych! The facade is fantastic, very detailed. Well done
  14. I've said this countless times on here, but I swear by it. WD-40 is safe to use on LEGO and electrical switches without causing a short. It will not stain, wipes off easy, shines up parts a bit. There is a slight smell because it's petroleum based, but unless it's right up to your face, you shouldn't notice. I use it once a year to shoot our industrial garage door switches. Our garage has a lot of traffic and stirs up a bit of dust. If you are still uncomfortable using plain WD-40, they also make it specifically for electrical contacts
  15. Awesome MOC ab HK! This would be a nice display piece at the ticket desk. Very detailed; lots to look at
  16. Excellent job recreating this train Zed_43
  17. Very nice trawler Sevenseas. I thought the same (City doesn't have any fishing boats), and built one myself back in '12. I really like your color choice. Well done
  18. Sharp car niteangel! I love the GT3, you captured it very well
  19. Very nice modular! It has a very lovely exterior
  20. That is really neat Pallaeon! Some great SNOT work here, I really like this micro build
  21. Agreed! This looks very fun. I will have to check back this year
  22. Here is a fact sheet comparison of all LEGO motors. Short answer according to chart, the PF motor has slightly less torque, but faster RPM through it's applied voltage with no load (just the motor unit by itself). I do believe that under load the PF will provide better torque over distance because it has it's power onboard, as opposed to 9V better current near the points attached to the track that dips the further the motor is from those points
  23. Great little court house. That 3rd pic is really funny
