Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 Discussion
Exetrius replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
I can definitely relate to that! Nice combos, especially Genie with sailor hat! Could you maybe share a picture of how the head looks on a hairpiece with peg hole? At first I was worried that Ursala's hair would be a lot less useful due to the grey on the sides, but I've tried it on a whole lot of different headpieces and I can say that it doesn't bother me on yellow skins and it even helps to blend in better with grey and metallic heads. It is also perfectly unisex, another great thing about it! I have put Syndrome's hair to use already, quite like the result: Saiyan Cole- 4,155 replies

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 16 Rumors and Discussion
Exetrius replied to 8BrickMario's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Ice queen is definitely a great minifig, I like the trans light blue crown and I hope her collar cape is white with silver spots printed on, similar to Vitruvius's cape. I think she also comes with the new wide dress piece. I'm also excited for the costume devil; definitely going to use it with the Nexo Knights fire demons. I will probably also get the mariachi band player. -
The frozen astronaut scene is very neat, great job on the lighting! Vitruvius's face works nicely.

The wall has a very natural look and you have made good efforts on the vegetation. Some constructive criticism: I think it would be more realistic to have the area behind the wall raised by, say, a brick and a plate, so it has backup, and because fortifications are often found around vantage points. The small pier feels off because it seems like a major gap in the defence line. (I am an over-thinking nitpick, I know! ) Happy building!

I am still doubting if I should get this set, really helpful review!

I expected somebody was going to point this out, but especially you! But it's a very valid point, focus and target audience are different indeed.

Awesome work! The snow shelter is fantastic, both in concept and execution, those smallest trees with upside down flowers are great as well!- 34 replies

I was hoping to find it revealed today, but no luck.. About the cave: agreed, and not only that: the Batman dune buggy is nothing compared to the awesome buggy-like Rock Roader in the Ninjago wave, while retail price and amount of minifigs are the same. (Not trying to start a DC vs Ninjago discussion here, but these pairs of sets appear quite alike.)

Why does it have to be at the end if the line? Why?! Well, if he's saving the best for last, I'm not complaining

But now we get cool hair! I hope it's actually darker than Azure, but if it isn't, it's still decently cool -

Good thing I'm not really interested in City these days... I bring moderately good news: the Gas Station is available for pre-order for €71,99 at Dutch retailer Brickshop. Other summer City sets are there as well with a pre-order discount: http://www.brickshop.nl/lego/city.html

Magnificent creation! The use of the those doors is pure brilliance! The small boat on the roof tops off the detailed stall perfectly.

Has anyone seen this?! It's easily the best Lego News show episode that I've seen. The set presentation is so smooth, but it's nothing compared to this awesome character: Ace! I really, really like his design and I actually was a little disappointed to not see an original vehicle for him. The tease at the end is stirs up the hype even more, so I hope we see something of both in the future!

Can't view it, it says it's not public

That's amazing! Technically, the build isn't bad either, but the story really sells it!

Is there any word on who will be included in the DK encyclopedia, yet?

Book II - Nocturnus: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Exetrius replied to ZCerberus's topic in Guilds of Historica
Sure! I scanned the first three pages of the GoH forum, turns out there hasn't been any activity of from Nocty guild members/builds set in Nocturnus since the beginning of April. (I believe all of the Desert King Nocturnus Crusade contest entries were set outside Nocturnus.) I think I was the last Nocturnus guild member to post a MOC loosly related to Nocturnus: Subjection of a legend (part of the Exetrius Saga), but I might have missed one. Anyway, I don't want this guild to become as dead as it's members! Let's make some MOCs! -
Well, that's a letdown, the figs are just too generic!
