  1. You mean a minifigure arm connection or a regular bar connection?
  2. Product animations are up: (Just picked a few that I like)
  3. Thanks, all, for the positive feedback! I hope to bring the next episode in two to three weeks.
  4. I know, EB doesn't facilitate letting people view your creation as a project. With the current rules, the best we can do is stating it's a project at the beginning of the post and putting more emphasis on the designing process and the compromises you made to fit the desired assets. As far as advertising goes, sacrificing your signature for a big thumbnail is really the only option, I suppose. Yeah, your projects are really the way to go, CM!
  5. Only Moderators can move topics, so you could use the 'report' function (next to 'edit') and request the thread to be moved. Second option is to make a new thread in the customization forum. (Re-writing your topic to fit the content of this forum isn't going to help you. ) Anyway, best of luck for your modification!
  6. I'm fairly certain that many children (and adults too!) use LEGO Ideas to showcase their creations. On the LEGO site, most themes have a gallery section for that purpose, but views and 'like' counts are very low. In addition, I think the train of thoughts of those people is like this: "Why not showing my awesome cool creation, while having a chance that it even becomes a real set? A free, possibly beneficial, gamble!" However, the perception of 'having a chance' is wrong, mostly. MOCs and Ideas projects both have very different standards. It is very often that I see projects by adults that are just MOCs, especially the "UCS" ones. I dislike seeing "You can now also support this on LEGO Ideas!" at the bottom of a MOC post here on EB. Ideas, LEGO sets, are designed with a market in mind; a restricted parts assortment; a trade-off between play and looks. Thís is the part where you show that you have what it takes to stand in the shoes of a real TLG designer! To me, it would be shameful to have your 10K supporters project model completely resized, redesigned; reimagined; by the TLG design team in order to make it a marketable set. Sorry for my rant, but I wanted to write off some frustration.
  7. @Soupperson1 Thanks for sharing! AustrianLegoFan on Youtube has build reviews of the ultimates: https://www.youtube.com/user/murdock1277/videos I've got to say: Lance is probably the second best looking good guy ultimate for me, after Aaron. I love his flying gear, too. Now I'm waiting for someone to replace the white helmet with the translucent one from the Spirius robot...
  8. Somebody did, with a picture. I can't seem to find it in the last 6 pages though, probably he/she edited the post as the image was rather large. But it's a nice easter egg for sure. It's funny, because Cole is kind of a half-phantom ninja now, I suppose.
  9. Ho dang! Seems like I have something to look forward too next week!
  10. Beautiful work! The overall lines are really well-done, the super subtle air inlet on the hood and the tire-shredders are two fantastic details!
  11. I'm only think in purist solutions, but can't really think of a nice-looking way to solve this. Personally, I'd first try this one, but I suppose it's too obvious: This topic belongs in the Customization forum, though. They will be able to help you out.
  12. This is not looking good... August is so far away...
  13. Your building skills are rapidly improving! Great build with a lot of things going on and many details. I really like the snow clearing scene! Keep it up, dathil!
  14. Exetrius Saga 1: Fallen leaf 2: Message in Kyrrath 3: Equipment upgrade 4: Subjection of a legend Episode 5: Family Dinner While testing new magic spells against opponents that actually rival your own strength is fun, it can’t compare to the pleasure of coming home after the job has been done, Onicius thought. The North of Mitgardia had been horribly cold and the way back wasn’t any better. Four days of almost continuous flight, through freezing winds, on the back of the reborn and therefore unpredictable dragon Fulminante. At the end of the journey, they descended from the clouds and were embraced by cushion of warm air. Swooshing through the valleys that lead to Zotharith; what a fantastic feeling… Katara Musei-Centario (mother) "Can I offer you the best of wine of the house, my dear?" The Centarios celebrate the reunion of the family with a festive dinner. Onicius reveals to his children the mysterious business adventure he had in the North, a story that took their breath away. Or maybe it's just the delicious rice meal that keeps them quiet... Exetrius reports his visit to aunt Alicia in the beautiful city of Kyrrath, and some other things he saw along the road. Onicius Centario "... Rambar Armafur, you say!? Are you absolutely sure that's what it read, my son? ..." Yukino, Exetrius' sister, chats with her mother about the martial arts training she had and gets updated about the latest news that has been carried to Zotharith from all across Nocturnus in the course of the last couple of months. Onicius Centario "Who wants a slice of mother's olive bread?" And the feast went on for several hours. However, the days of relaxation would be over quickly, since the Festival of the Ranks kicks off in only two weeks. Exetrius is determined to climb at least five places on the boards this year, but therefore he should start training shortly! To be continued.... in the next episode: Attack of the Hunters Yay for filler episodes! A fun build to do and this time I had some sort of infinity backdrop, which made editing a lot more pleasant. More colour corrections then usual, due to bad lighting. Character previews of the next episodes can be found on my Flickr, feel free to have a look. Thanks for reading/viewing, C&C much appreciated, as always!
  15. pretty sure they can, as Ursala's bottom piece is presumably larger then the wheelchair. I think NK Macy's face would be a fairly good swap-in for the female kickboxer, with the teethcrack. No big deal, imo.
  16. Those shoes though...
  17. You gave me a good laugh! The grill is excellent, the kick stand is a wonderful detail! (Now, where's that salad bar? )
  18. Haven't heard of anything exclusive to Peru, I can only think of store opening exclusives and the 2016 Rio Olympic games mascottes. But about the airport, maybe keep an eye out for something like this: http://brickset.com/sets/40146-1/Lufthansa-Plane ?
  19. Yeah, I had the same thing! It might just be the fact that the group picture wasn't revealed first. And agreed, the mariachi player is so awesome. (Go Mexico; hail cultural diversity!)
  20. You're taking jousting to a whole new level! Puns aside, cool idea, nicely hidden. The vegetation looks good and the front of the tower does not look too plain, even though it's a large, flat surface, mostly. Keep up the good work!
  21. It has a classic/generic styling, which is not particularly good, yet not particularly bad for me. I really want that beard piece, though.
  22. Nice build! The smoldering fire is very effective use of relatively simple parts. Good job on the rockwork as well, with multiple layers of wedge plates! An overview from the front would be nice, though. Otherwise, the pics are fine.
  23. Thanks for sharing. I'd rather see it being 50€ or something, but it's not really a bad price. I might pick this up on discount, but it's already a very expensive year for me with Ninjago. I do intend on buying Ultimate Flama; many great pieces.
  24. Thank you so much! Excellent images! I'm really tempted to assemble a large crew now and build a large ship. The turban guy is great; the face, the torso and the turban are all nice. I like how even the sailor hat includes the Skybound emblem. Nya is simply glorious, really well-done! Zane is cool, I missed out on the Rebooted version so this is a nice way to compensate.
