  1. Agreed, the barrels on pallets look great!
  2. Is this the new book we're talking about?
  3. Whaoh!!! That GB Zhu's Chinese restaurant is awesome! Lets hope the decoration is printed for the most part. To bad it doesn't seem to include the Big Bang Theory takeaway bags. Mr. T is also spot-on! Adventure time is pretty likeable, although I have never watched that.
  4. Diversity will always outshine unity, no matter how you look at it! I want to react to this properly, but I'm tired atm... zzz
  5. I think this is fine as long as you (and all other people in this thread, for that matter) are not promoting your own projects.
  6. Axl's one is in the Volcano Lair... good luck Agree on all of that. I meant the other torch flame/plume, btw.
  7. Bricks & Pieces on LEGO's Shop@Home is a somewhat decent alternative to Bricklink.com. Even if all members in a certain thread were to be Dutch-speaking, then still: English, please!
  8. LordDan does have a good point though about how big, mindblowing MOCs can be intimidating. In fact, after going through so many of them, I found myself wondering how I could ever shine in a community like that. That was just a mood, I'm over it! Also, to emphasize the role-playing element, maybe it would be nice to have some vignette sized sigfig scenes?
  9. There is really no clue in the title, nor the post as to what the intention of this topic is. I could interpret this as follows: 1. promoting your projects 2. promoting projects of others 3. mentioning your projects 4. mentioning projects of others Number 1 is against the rules, but I don't see a real problem with 2, 3 and 4.
  10. It's fantastic news that the ocean and forest/swamp factions are indeed showing up in the sets. They made the designs of the fire demons monsters seriously menacing, I hope the other factions get the same treatment. Now that we have plenty of fire pieces now, bring in the other elements! Elemental stuff for the win!!! Well, in particular, I think it's high time for the torch flame pieces to be moulded in other trans colours like light blue, purple, green... anything, really! Imagine ranking in "Metal": soldiers in gunmetal, commanders in copper (pls, bring that back, TLG!), admirals in chrome and the king in gold. "Earth" sounds equally full of potential. Secretly hoping for wood elves (made of wood!) in a nice tree hideaway.
  11. You know, after the posters are done, we can maybe turn this into the GoH Hall of Fame.
  12. So eh, LEGO Dimensions 2 is a different game with a whole lot of dimensions in it, which has portal through which you can enter LEGO Dimensions 1 and its worlds, plus something about connectables. ... I have no idea what's going on, sorry! I guess I'll find out in the coming weeks. But I wonder: are we going to get Lord Vortex, finally? (and Sauron, and Vader and Garmadon.... and... and...)
  13. I think the rockwork is awesome, even without slopes and tiles! Looking forward to your progress.
  14. True, and there's enough to appreciate in the Summer wave!
  15. Man... what a fantastic set!!! I have never bought a Superheroes set, but this even got me thinking about getting two! I love how complete the scene is, with artifacts, bookshelves, maps scattered across the floor, the table with candles; so much detailing! The figs and their accessories are absolutely top-notch in my opinion! Doctor Strange's magic is awesome and all of the designs seem very re-usable for yellow-skin figs. I AM SOOOO DIGGING THIS!!! EDIT: What colour are those fans even!? Trans-white-glitter-gold, idk?? Looks bloody fabulous! I believe the black framework is just a combo of existing arch elements. the silver part are four large katana blades, introduced in a 76000, very npu by the designer!
  16. About the clip technique: I immediately knew what you were going for! Maybe it looks a little nicer if used on a more open field, less densely packed? Anyway, I like your efforts on the making the snow more interesting and unconventional. The tree is great and it's also good to see a MOC border. Keep on building, dathil!
  17. When I saw prelims, I thought the trans would look horrible, but now... oh my, I'm awed! Fantastic review, I really appreciate all the comparisons as well!
  18. Personally, I think the old version of Kozu is much better; the details are more refined and he has a nicer colour scheme. As far as I can tell, Cryptor's amour has cooler printing and he has a better face, imo, but torso and legs are more generic. In the official image of the 2016 version, his three red optical lights look misprinted.
  19. Great posing and I also very much like the effect of the 1x6 slopes!
  20. Nice shot! So, I was just about to order the Skybound army pack from S@H, but it's already sold out in the Netherlands. Re-stocking on June 17. What is worse, though, is that pretty much every set has been marked up by 5 euros here! Not cool!
  21. $2.50!?? As in: a dollar cheaper than a CMF bag?! Man, I wish retailers in the Netherlands had such outlandish clearances...
  22. I read it, it's hilarious and fantastic!
  23. There's a gap of 9 set numbers between 70596 (Samurai X Cave) and 70606 (Ninjago Movie 1 GA).
  24. Utterly amazing work, wow! The shear size of it; the building details; the incredible extent to which things are functional; the stopmotion bits and the truly epic montage... It's almost to much to handle, man! The nightime scenes are absolutely brilliant! "COULD YOU PLEASE SHUT UP?! - Yeah, you know one time I was..."
