I agree with your top statement, I recently spotted what I think is a new clip piece in a DC set, but I don't feel like posting in that thread just for that. I wouldn't share applications of new parts before I tried and showed them myself, though 70589 has a couple more recolours, like lightsaber hilts and train suspension both in Dark Brown and skiyng poles in Warm Gold. To me, it also seems like those old curved pieces are back, not just you. Looking back at a Toy Fair image, it seems like there is one of those slim wheels (rubber tyre) underneath, which touches the ground and drives the drill/shooter mechanism when you pushed on the vehicle. Makes it even more fun!

I've been on EB a fair part of the day, while I should be writing an assignment report instead. (Sobek is a horrible programme to work with, maybe some who can relate >_< ). I should really finish this since the deadline has been postponed two times -two weeks- already and I'm procastinating even now the deadline has passed... I'm stupid! (and enjoying my life!)

Nope, I'm not a fan of it either. The only feature of the build that is a little interesting is the phone area; the gate isn't impressive at all and the rest looks like a below-average City set. The minifigs are a mixed bag as well: I don't care for the (generic!) guard, Soto and the Stone Army warrior are much-wanted characters, but their prison torso and legs are useless to me. (I can MOC something for them, but that's not the point) Inclusion of Kai is quite nice and I'm glad Zane gets titanium hair, and, being a white ninja, his torso may be useful. I hope the map is printed, that would be a small extra plus too. But overall, an ugly odd one out in this brilliant wave! That said, this will be an expensive Ninjago year! I recently bought the Raid Zeppelin and from the summer sets I will certainly pick up the Rock Raider, The Green NRG Dragon and The Lighthouse Siege, all of which are just fantastic! Not sure about the Ultra Stealth Raider yet, not before the reveal of the Airjitzu Battle Grounds set anyway.

99% sure that none of these will appear in the summer wave, since none of them were shown on the minifig turntables at Nuremberg/NY Toy Fair, and their appearance hasn't been rumored either. However, the fact that Samukai and Morro are shown may indicate that we will see them back indeed, in the winter wave maybe? The thing is... If they bring those two back, I hope they will give the Overlord and Garmadon a revamp too.

Yay, found and secured 'em! Pretty awesome set indeed; four decent vehicles, a cool control area, a bridge in lovely sand blue and great figs! I wonder if the blueprints are printed. And still no trace of the Airjitzu Battle Grounds! Why!?

I like the effect of the many wedge plates and how they form sort of a rounded corner. Maybe you could have added a line of material (deposited by the sea) on the lowest level of rocks, to make it a tad more irregular and for just a little more detail. Posing of you character and placement of the boat are perfect though, as well as the vegetation, which is very appropriate for the geographical place that you have chosen. I'm curious how the story proceeds, keep up the good work!

Awesome how you manage to merge several different tones of vegetation together. Another fantastic build, keep it up! I understand what you mean with 'elaborate blades' in the sets and how they tend to give them special descriptions. I regard those more as generic weapons, which does not at all mean that I don't like them as a build, but I would rather see them having a unique (e.g. specialized moulds), powerful signature weapon. Great to hear something about this set again, finally! So, there is a skull-shaped gate, with the base/lab behind it, fully enclosed by walls, no ceiling, if I understood your description correct? The mini-mech sounds like a very fun and appropriate addition. The Stone warrior and Jay are new compared to the info, which also mentioned Sensai Yang. I he still included?Is the Samurai X outfit also a minifig or just an armour stand? Does Pythor come with a translucent green snake staff? Could you perhaps describe the areas/features of the lab and the launch thing in a little more detail? You see, in the show there is this central control bridge area slash launch pad, with vehicles, gear and whatnot stored around it in the walls. Is does it look a bit like that? Sorry to bombard you with so many questions! I'm just so curious and I still have no clue how long it will take before we see official images. Speaking of LEGOLAND parks, I saw this image over at the Ninjago wiki, does anyone know where this is? The temple looks absolutely amazing Btw, I don't understand why there is so much talk about the suits all of a sudden, since they were shown at Nuremberg and NY already, but anyway, I like them quite a bit too. (I'm really tempted to buy one of the super pricey original green ninja hoods for Lloyd now)

Well, I guess a good misprint is so desireable because it's a one-of-a-kind; an ultimate collector's item. But, I'd rather have a good prototype piece instead, though.

Ah, two people, my bet!. I absolutely agree on this, if they changed voices that would be very weird, especially since it's canon. Besides, I there is nothing to complain about the voices at all, in my opinion. Sensei Wu's and Jay's are my favorites, they'd better not mess those up!
