Epic! I don't know what the use is for the last wagon (turbine wagon?) but it looks like some mighty beast!

Cool! Can you show me how you did the sliding bogie i the tender? -
it has to do something with taste if you like a locomotive with an oversized boiler and undersized wheels...

Power functions not the same for Set 10233 Horizon Express and Set 600
THERIZE replied to AlexJ's topic in LEGO Train Tech
The second one could be powered in multiple ways. With the Horizon being a long train you may have some trouble with both back to back because of the way the motors work. The easiest would be using extension cables (http://shop.lego.com/en-US/LEGO-Power-Functions-Extension-Wire-20-8871) and a polarity switch (http://shop.lego.com/en-US/LEGO-Power-Functions-Control-Switch-8869) but if you still have another battery box, receiver and motor you could also do the same setup in both locomotives with one driving backwards (black switch next to the red buttons on the controller. -
I have A LOT of small boxes to store them (20+) and most of the LEGO stays there. I have to share it with my homework and computer so sometimes bricks seem to hide themselves... My sets that I 'use' for decorating like architecture and CUUSOO/IDEAS get the places on my shelf while city sets or most of my mocs are stored in empty boxes. I would have something like a table with maybe a small city like area if you want to show your LEGO. I have a swivel chair with a table all around me where the right if for computer and storing of LEGO, left for homework etc and the middle for LEGO building. And remember that you don't need to have it logical. I' thinking about a arch bridge from the left to the right side of the table. So for me I suppose I have a lot of multi functionality in storing LEGO. I just use what I see. Just some weird random solution works the best for me.

i don't have hornby mainly because its hard to get in mainland europe. But I have some other model railway trains.

My dream set would be a Delaware and Hudson ALCO PA. I love ALCO PA's and the blue livery looked epic!
-
That white one could be straight out of a movie set in the future! I like them.
-
Cool! But I think you need to change the cables because well, you know it. But still it looks awesome!

That architecture tho! I love those things next to the front stairs.

Cool! Like JopieK said it indeed looks a bit creepy. I bet a scene in the dark with the lego ghost train could be cool.

Looks good! But why was the turntable modified?

Wonderfull!

nice! I like the classic feeling with those roof bricks! can you show us a little bit more about the electric stuff?

How do you dust between the studs on LEGO?
THERIZE replied to The Steward's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I once had some badass compressed air blower. Somehow I don't mind about dust anymore on my sets.
