  1. well, tell the person who did this to me that I don't see it as a award like it though...
  2. died
  3. turning on my headphones so I can watch youtube gaming and play Sims 4.
  4. I think that is because of the pictures not 'existing' anymore on the the forums. It happens to a lot of old topics. or sometimes when a server is down. I believe I heard something about brickshelf hosting and it being down a lot of times. my advice would or, look at a different moment to check if it was the server. if that doesn't help the pictures don't exist anymore and there is nothing to do anymore. in this situations with old topics I think its handier to check if the original poster is still active and send that person a pm. In this case 'TheBrickster' isn't active anymore and sending a message would not help.
  5. for buying motors I think you should go to the bazaar (http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showforum=16).
  6. you could try to print them by yourself. I don't know how to do that but I know that you can do that.
  7. nonono leave the grill there! it gives it its feeling and the look of a classic car with the giant grilles that looked like mustaches.
  8. very cool! those trucks look extremely sporty! and they thus don't appear to be city trucks but more like some cool custom car! I love them.
  9. very nice! imagine a rake of around 50 of those wagons behind a few locomotives, wonderful!
  10. Thank you very much!
  11. well, I already said that in the text 'about the model'. And about don't mind, I already have 16 BBB wheels... It uses a 2x4 plate under it. You can see it on the third picture.
  12. Hi guys, I have a little project I worked on the last hour as a fun build and I decided I would share this one! TATMRlady by therizingrize, on Flickr Can someone guess 'who' she is? anyone? Well, this is Lady. one of the main characters in Thomas And The Magic Railroad. a movie from back in 2000. she runs the 'Magic Railroad'. the bridge between 'shining time station' and 'Sodor'. the two places in the movie. I saw the movie once at TV, I assume I understood nothing because there isn't a Dutch translation but I watched the movie several times on YouTube. about the model: The model is mostly dark purple and gold and is powered by the standerd PF bogie and if I could build the model it would use BBB medium drivers and golden drivers from Zephyr. sadly due to the gold and purple used in this model I won't see this beauty on my layout... But I could just paint the bricks so maybe... TATMR3lady by therizingrize, on Flickr Here is a picture of how the boiler is connected. I now realize that I forgot a dome, oops. just a simple connection here with a 1x2 'headlight' brick. TATMR2lady by therizingrize, on Flickr A picture of the rear showing the gap where the PF cable would stick out of. little taillight also. TATMR4lady by therizingrize, on Flickr And here a picture of the cab. kinda boring but as this model won't be build I don't see it as a problem. I hope you guys like the model. Maybe if many people like it I will drop the LXF. bye
  13. I tried to do this several times but it never worked for me. For coupling you could use a drawbar from under the bogie. But If its to long it can block the bogie from turning.
  14. looks good but it hink it is to long and to high. this could be solved by using bigger wheels, removing those air-conditioning units, using smaller windows at the second floor or reducing the space between the two floors. but I think using larger wheels and shorten it just a little bit will make it look more like the prototype.
  15. lovely! can you show us a video of that baby running?
  16. hmm. stil broken for me. maybe try flickr or make a youtube video. I'm very curious!
  17. Cool! The colours look nice good to see it's powered!
  18. I think they will do it like the creator lighthouse. piles and platforms won't happen I assume.
  19. wonderful! i love the amount of detail you put into it like those valves, running gear and railings and the decals make it complete! wonderful!
  20. and if you do mind nothing about a visible gap in the middle you could use the lego passenger train style.
  21. I like the video!
  22. lego could make the remote couplers as separate 'expansions' and/or with the expert trains. Although I prefer magnets (just so handy, also for other uses) remote couplers could be fun. or perhaps they could make a system that 'splits' two magnets something I saw a while ago. I don't think we will something like that tho or at least not within a few years...
  23. do you use a mobile device? because then you don't have the option.
  24. cool! how is that pepper done? i mean those bending pieces.
