  1. Custom engine would be better. I've archieved very good results using this method ( nevermind the chassis). Those are cams with 1/4 pins on top as pistons. the downside is that it doesn't work upside down, hovewer , a V-type engine is possible. Also , 2l axles with half-bushes can be used as pistons:
  2. Does anyone else have a problem updating the BuWizz? Mine can't update at all , the update screen pops up , but nothing else happens, and each time I have to restart the BuWizz and the app. I tried on a different phone , but no success
  3. I guess once we will be able to create our own profiles , will be able to keep that parameter. Imho now it doesn't keep it because you may be connecting your BuWizz to a different MOC, so you may not want that parameter to be kept @Void_S
  4. l-motors are one stud longer than m-motors. and if I'm right , the space for motors is of 13 studs, therefore l-motors won't fit (7+7=14) But I like the bodywork
  5. when you are setting up your controls there is a small white arrow. push it to invert the polarity of that output
  6. More futuristic sets would be nice, I am getting bored of seeing just another boring motorcycle or an overpriced licensed set. I would love to see more sets of 00's style . Also , color vomit must get extinct, it ruins the monochromatic chassis looks. I haven't seen LBG bushes in sets in a very long time what makes me angry because I don't use those red bushes at all
  7. Maybe a 4-speed gearbox would fit?
  8. @Milan Yes , still fixed. Many thanks for the new controls , the 8466 look fantastic on the controls selection menu!
  9. Looks very promising. I recommend you using Ctrl+K for making screenshots without the grid and in higher quality. Plus it creates the screenshot as a .png file , so you can add a custom background to it very easily
  10. The car design and functionality are amazing , the door-steps and sliding cockpit are something very cool, but my only complaint would be the music ( it's a retro car after all...)
  11. "New" return-to-center mechanism. I've been using it for quite a long time now, just didn't happen to make a tutorial before. Much smaller than my previous version
  12. Good day! This thing was made for a 1vs1 competition , the goal is to modify a set into a crawler. I decided to as small as I could, so I took my 42027 and slammed a bunch of PF parts into it. Specs: 1x m-motor for 4x4 drive 1x m-motor for steering 1x IR receiver 1x battery box Video: Photos (click for full size): Althought some things could've been done better , I'm quite happy with it.
  13. Fantastic design, the lit eyes make a great effect
  14. 23: 10 25: 6 11: 4 13: 3 1: 2 3: 1 This has been a fantastic contest , good luck everyone!
  15. Yes,it is possible. Check the small tools that appear under the main ones, there you should be able between the selection modes. If you hover over those tools, there should appear the name of the tool. Choose the "Shape selection tool" or "Shape and color selection tool" Then simply select one 1x1 round and the rest will be automatically selected. And if you hold "Ctrl" at the same time, you can select various types of pieces at the same time
  16. One of my favourite entries so far , the bodywork is sleek and it is very compact built.
  17. I hate when people use music from free libraries like that and don't put the small obligatory text in the video description. It helps the artist to be promoted but many people just ignore it :(
  18. I am thinking of placing an order from Shapeways in near future for a project, and one of the pieces is the 20z diff. I saw that you had it 3d printed in the video demostration , do you know how strong it is ? I plan it to rotate at high speeds and I'm concerned how it will hold up the stress.
  19. You could try using a Virtual Steering Point system , examples below: This model by ZBLJ uses that system: @ 1m 54sec Nico71 has instructions for his one used in the sedan car: http://www.nico71.fr/small-black-motorized-sedan-car/
  20. I use VSDC Free Video Editor : http://www.videosoftdev.com/ It has a paid version too: "You may download Free Video Editor and use it completely free without restrictions (no trial period, watermarks, or ads). You can, however, support the project by signing up for technical support. We provide fast and full support to solve all your problems when using our products " It has a very big potential , but I'm too lazy to start learning videoediting in parallel with programming and 3d modelling. They upload video editing tutorials on their youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/FlashIntegro I can't really tell anything about functionality because I use an outdated version.
  21. Thanks! So far I had no thermal protection problems, but, as far as I'm concerned, the new generation battery boxes have better thermal protection that allows more current. I tried stalling the motor, but no protection kick in.

  23. Very hard to beat the design of this model , both in self-protection and self-defense , the photo of the innards is astonishing!
  24. Thanks! Video available now:
