  1. For display purposes, I think, anything could work. For some playability not so easy.
  2. That is how it looks "inside" Upper gear is for movement, lower to hold it better in place. Only lower coub be enough, I think, but I needed "drive" axle higher. Process of designing On orginals each outriger would work separately, to be able to adjust to uneven ground. For Lego model I thought that it would be more interesting and better to operate all at once. Also some picture from process, where there is already working concept to operate both sides And then, I would say, final version I took some time to align all gears. I didn't thought, but I needed to also adjust each sides outriggers. By turning small 8T gear, there was also some slight difference.
  3. Thank You! Crossbeams really help here. Yes, this would be possible with standard beams, but build would be more massive, I assume. And I was really stucked some hour with long steering racks, trying to find some good combination, until I "found" those grey parts in drawer with short beams :) Oh yes, outrigger. Didn't came to my mind yesterday, somehow. Will be building for front today, so will make also picture of the "inside".
  4. Some cherrypicker or similar thing is in progress, as I wanted to put these tires to good use. Those supports (don't know if that is correct) was pretty long challenge, until I found, that this combination is just perfect (it seems so) Some steering racks in all combinations where too tight. Almost working, but too hard. Was not satisfied. Then I found, that these grey are littlebit lower (I don't use them everyday :) ). They engage really good.
  5. This scale is really challenging. But there always some solution - compromise :)
  6. I see, that pics are on flickr, so it is OK, not a standard beginners issue. I was able to get bigger picture, but flickr works somehow strange, when I paste link here, so I also really recommned bricksafe.com for MOC pics.
  7. I was thinking, why there won't be front axle driven, and just later realised, that this is on those smallest tractor tires.
  8. Poor tires. Or it won't be so bad (weight)?
  9. that there are stupid people around (from 8billions on this rock) :D Sorry, Your MOC is pretty OK, It would have maybe frontpaged, if the topic was not just an advertising for expensive building instructions.
  10. Cool topic, which shows one picture of moc, nothing about, how it is built, just statement, that it is somehow superior. Link to buy instructions, clikbait type topic name. What else could we deserve?
  11. I thought, maybe something has been left in some regional stock, but i see it also in LV available.
  12. Good looking and huge. I'm just missing some attachment or something.
  13. Nice design. Like how You made shock absorber connection in front. Yes, visual lightnes is lost. Don't like something about doors. Eeverything else pretty smooth, but doors are somehow rough.
  14. Agree on this. In fact, I got tired building CAT, it was just too much for me. Don't know, maybe getting old :)
  15. Geneious, yet simple switches. Looks also great. Just don't get, why on controlpanel You used grey not yellow bushes.
  16. Don't know, but it looked like, that just needed to improve loading, and it could work.
  17. Would you be so kind, and use more proper title, this is not tik tok.
  18. Maybe beams, frames atc. are slowly sliding out of pins under gravity. In every connection just littlebit, in total, maybe it is even not noticable, but for some parts of drivetrain it is critical. Maybe geaorbox top is still together, bottom already wider/longer. It is bent, not square anymore. Juts my guess. Maybe try to push together some sections of build?
  19. I really like this. And there is so much functionality.
  20. I don't, know, maybe some custom solution from some beams and those 2x5 panel extensions or something. Just a suggestion.
  21. Not so much in to GBC, but it would have been better (from esthetics point of view) , if each next wheel would be propotionally bigger.
