  1. Because it was on original. Why not to have "fake" central diff? :)
  2. Thank You all! But why? OK, there is not much function on it (as motor is not connected to it), but removing it also won't change a much. Maybe some dimensions will change, but at the moment I tried to keep everything half the original, as these tires are half diameter of those used on 42114. That dump body canopy(?) should be littlebit rised, so then I could also make cabin taller, maybe. I think I need to make sizing on real hauler.
  3. As it is immediately frontpaged, what else to say.
  4. Cool video. Nice formula, and that light-logo is really impressive. Does Batman really like reverse steering, or there is something wrong with my eyes?
  5. Thank You! Morning went fast. I realised, that I didn't took any pic, when front was almost done I tried to replicate those folding stairs (or whatever it is). Some yellowing starts :) Turbine also had downsizing because of EU rules :D (to fit under hood) Added steerin wheel and seat Somohow happened, that hood holder found the same place (it doesn't work as hod lock) And then holding hood in open position (on top of fake vent - small tan gear) Added rear lights exhaust Some overall view Ordered small yellow panels. Then will try to rebuild also rear and take better pictures.
  6. That multiknob solution is interesting. If not mistaken, rise cylinder works just one way - up. Down it goes just by gravity? You could try to better arrange tubes, so they not stand out so much. And fix better that pump. It seems like it is held in place by one pin.
  7. Recently built from parts I own 42114. Build was really interesting, functionality not so interesting. Could be good (yellow) parts pack. During build I started to think, that I could try to build mini version of it. Finished vehicle somewhere at the bottom of page with more pictures (one picture of finished MOC now) Yesterday it started with this \ Was really happy, that I managed to replicate drivetrain so good. As I have covid, but not so bad, that I could not build, I continued For this build these linear actuators seemed the best. Yes, better would be something between these and bigger ones. I considered also pneumatic cylinders, but could not find place for pump, it is just too big for this. So I went with these. Yes, tipping angle could have been better, but I can live with this :) Then I build tipping bed There are also lot of compromises. It could have been little bit wider, but have to work with angles, that lego provides. Started to work also on front As this model is 1:2 of original, then also fake engine has only 3 cylinders, not 6. Not shure about mudguard yet. In picture there is two variations. There won't be specific steering mechanism. I was thinking about something, but then I realised, that this is articulated steering, and for this model it would be OK to do steering (and also driving) just by turning cabin (whole front part) Now I'm building in black. Maybe after building everything, I will change front part to yellow (as it should be), and also add some yellow accents to back, as much as may parts collection will allow.
  8. I remember, that there was somewhere production date. Maybe it was on those brown carton boxes? As I can't find on any box I have something like date.
  9. maybe from production date on the box?
  10. Looks good, clean, somehow minimalistic.
  11. Built from parts I own 42114, then started to think, that I could try to build mini version. Just some beginning.
  12. It doesn't look so heavy . OK, last model is pretty speedy, that could be the reason for lego not to hold a load.
  13. It is some tow truck?
  14. Well designed for B model with "limited" parts.
  15. Movable armrests are really nice feature. I think, never have seen that.
  16. If the only point is 60 stud, then why not to go for 100, which also should be pretty easy. ;)
  17. What's really the point of this? I would understand, that wheels are bigger, then You need it wider etc.
  18. Pretty OK, but somehow seems too flat for Roma. For official B model would be OK :D
  19. Maybe these could be used https://rebrickable.com/parts/3957a/antenna-1-x-4-with-rounded-top/ or they are too long? They would hold better, I suppose.
  20. Planning to build this soon, as I have now all parts needed in my collection. Maybe will be able to help after that, If I will run in the same issues :D
  21. I tested, connection in the middlehole could be OK, but on the other side there will be gear, so you can just put in a tip. On the sides I was not able to push that bar in at all. Didn't wanted to brake any link. Think of some idea to create some chain from some elements. Or try to go for large chainlinks, and make something based on those.
  22. Of course, system parts improves look, the way it would be almost impossible with pure technic. It is OK. I just don't get why You didn't made roof with some flat surface, and left those pins exposed? I like also details on engine, and door mechanism simplicity is impressive.
  23. Thank You for kind words! I started this, then inbetween happened TC22, and I made this (was a good preparation for this) As I wrote, pneumatics at this scale woud be mess of tubes. Then I would also need to go for even bigger scale, which I'm also considering now (just don't have so much pneumatics now) Need a full line of graders in each of sizes.
  24. Some technic bricks + plates. Something like that. Anyway you will need to use something from technic.
