I like it, this is really technical. I think, this is best thing - as this is technic, so more about functions. And You are also reducing weight really good. This would be really heavy with all holes filled. Also You would have more challenges with functions. Yes, I think in some places beams would look better, as in this scale some parts are close to dissappearing from sight.

Yes. And it is not so good already. Anyway, there is no rubbing or something like that. -

Did a more proper version with more yellow Made thinner pillar for cabin Now rear windows hold hood in open position, as it was really hard to put that stick in its place Removed central diff, as it didn't had any real function. Seems like it improved look of vehicle. -

I know that stud.io has some capability of testing structural integrity. Never have used it. More liked would be some possibility to test functionality - f.i. gearbox, if all gears are correct, some linkages (LDD has it up to some level of complexity) etc. -

Nice and clean build, all functionality included. Great! Those squarish tyres would have fitted best. And maybe nice rear fender is missing, but that just small thing. -
[MOC] Photo/film scanner
Jurss replied to Jurss's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Yes, this is developed film. Of courde "raw" doirectly from photo will be "damaged", fully exposed. Made second version for film holder. Film is about 4.5 studs high. So centering of whole holder is "illegal" -
Found some old photo films. Doesn't had specific scanner. With document scanner results were really bad. So, what to do? Of course, if there are lego technic at the hand, why not to use them. So, some half and hour, and it is ready. Camera is held just by some little bending of litftarms. This canon fitted really well In fact, also lense with just in the width of the box, so it is really held there. Film holder Needs some improvement, adjustment, as film is closer to 4 studs in height. On the other side there are 3x11 panels and 3x3 cookies. Light source is phone in some white screen mode (there was some app on playstore) This is first shot Maybe need to bring focus closer, to get better resolution, but then, maybe, geometry would be distorted Abd then first final result (just crop and invert)
-
Very few have here some fan base, but we (at least me) don't "cry" out (loud) about that. Otherway, pretty good "speedy" alternative. And no need to cover something so much - this is technic, not model team. OK, latest official technic builds wouldn't agree :)

Don't think so. HOG linking then would be in front part, not there. But for me it seems, that there is no need for specific HOG mechanisms, as this has articulated steering, and it could be really done grabbing cabin. I was thinking to put those actuators at some angle, as on original. But still, there is almost no room for that. Also pneumatics pump was considered there, but that pump is just too big. -

New chassis without central diff, for final model. Waiting for parts, but forgot to order 3x11 panels in yellow :(
