Jurss replied to Duca59's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Cool build, also good, that it is "functional", and also detail level is really good. -

Replaced one part to correct color. Took pictures to take entry, but somehow they are dark, even light seemed really good. And Yes, I need to think about new name and which side to join -

As mini bwe was finished, returned to beach buggy. Shortened wheel base Now I made this as in real case :) ( You know - build for real), as for those buggies VW beetle frame is used, which is shortened during rebuild. Added engine also moved shock absorbers more to sides Now will come hardest part - body. -
[MOC] Mini BWE

I could try, but i'm trying to limit my computer time, as my work is all the time at computer. It didn't came fast, but this seemed best option in this case Yes, that could work. I will try. But they could stay littlebit out, as that axle is 1.5, but let's see. -
First I wanted to build mini version of 42055, when I got those smaller gear rings, but then I realised, that I don't have parts in that dark blue etc. So some simpler version was made of some kind of bwe. Tried to keep it simple. It is not very correct, but with some small efficiency it could even dig and transport ground. Main functionality: rotating bucket wheel conveyor belt from bucket wheel to the back (these two function work simultaneously by gears on both sides) rising/lowering of bucket wheel rotating platform (when rotated, rear conveyor doesn't change position) Some insight in to mechanisms, which allows to rotate platform, while conveyors are working Some other views

I wouldn't recommend studio, LDD or similar digital build, especially for learning, as You can build there anything. But then truth will be faced I would recommend starting to build official lego sets. And yes, if You wan't to add panels etc, to Your collection, then start with red color. Black also have lot of variety, but it won't look so good. And check this http://www.litlug.lt/ yes, they haven't updated for a wile, but they are active on social platforms etc. -

Proper technic build. That pneumatics set up and all linkage is really good thing to copy in technic -
Great job. New panels really help to shape better body. I'm just thinking, why You didn't made real intakes in front, but covered them with black beams? Ok, You could put those beams deeper, now everything is on one level.

Try to connect one of them directly, check the result. But maybe they just don't have enough power. -
