  1. You misunderstood me. I wasn't complaining, just pointing out that if you want to rebuild most MOC's 100% correctly, you'd better have a large parts collection. In no way am I suggesting that MOC'ers should restrict themselves to only using common parts! That would be ridiculous, obviously. By the way, I got four yellow 32184's for cheap thanks to a certain very nice Eurobricks member! The inner perfectionist in me rejoices :D
  2. Cool, I guessed as much. Thanks a lot for making the instructions available for free by the way, though I wouldn't have minded paying for such good instructions! I have almost all the parts ordered now, can't wait to start building this beauty...
  3. Just wondering, the inventory at Rebrickable lists two 50 cm PF extension wires, but I guess two 20 cm PF extension wires will do as well?
  4. Pretty cool, thanks for the link :) Interesting to see that the lattice boom is constructed entirely with studded Lego, I guess because it's stronger and stiffer than studless beams.
  5. Haha Sariel, for some reason I imagined you as some ultra-organized guy :D Probably because you are always so meticulous with all the details etc. in your MOCs!
  6. Heh, that 'x-ray' render of Blakbird above makes me want to build this MOC as well :) Off to Rebrickable I go... Edit: hmm, 109 parts missing. Time to make some Bricklink orders :D
  7. I'm afraid Jurgen has gone MIA again, I emailed him about buying the instructions for his Zorex-220 excavator but he never replied :(
  8. Do you have a link to that crane? Looks amazing.
  9. Planetary gear looks interesting, but as you say the resolution seems to be quite lacking.
  10. Simply gorgeous.
  11. Yeah, I'm not a fan of the aesthestics of 42008 either. Anyone know who designed it?
  12. Heh, thought it was a Crowkillers production at first glace! Not sure if we're allowed to discuss 'clone brands' on this forum though. Anyway, probably the usual: looks similar, but worse quality with inconsistent finishing, colouring, and durability. Avoid at all costs.
  13. I'd love if there was a proper replacement for the power puller tyres.. they're impossible to buy!
  14. Nice review, thanks. Maybe next time you could also call out which parts are new/rare etc., and also include a few pictures of the building process. Just a suggestion ;)
  15. Bonnet is looking a bit monotonous imo, might want to spice things up a bit with decals of strips or whatever ;-)
  16. I've already got plenty of wheels and tires, and apparently the hubs are quite useless for MOC'ing (at least, this has been stated often by MOC'ers like Crowkillers). So that leaves the panels and liftarms I guess, but white isn't a very often-used colour, even for cars. Hmm, tough.
  17. Do you guys reckon it's worth buying this set for the parts alone? I can get it pretty cheap, for 85 EUR.
  18. Gorgeous truck indeed! Very cool that you made instructions for it, must've taken a lot of time! Too bad I hardly have any studded Lego though, maybe I will make a studless version :D
  19. Good job! Transitioning from studfull to studless building is not easy, but you'll be glad to have done it once you get the hang of it :)
  20. For a perfectionist it does make a difference ;) I noticed that some MOC'ers love to use outdated/very hard to find parts in their MOCs, like 19L black soft axles, black bushings, etc. (especially for supercar MOCs). I guess you have to flexible :D
  21. Too bad 32184 'Technic, Axle and Pin Connector Perpendicular 3L with Center Pin Hole' is almost impossible to find in yellow :/
