  1. Yeah, you can see Zblj has added an extra half bush on top of the valve lever to prevent the 8 tooth gear from popping off.
  2. I just noticed it's not 100% reliable, the small gear can be forced off the valve lever by the worm gear. Trying to figure out a way to prevent that.
  3. Just built this (with some minor modifications to make it stronger), and it works flawlessly. Thanks!
  4. Probably some simple kind of ratchet, like the original 9396 uses.
  5. Looks good, and thank you for making the instructions available!
  6. I suggest you install Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Safari has/had a lot of issues with embedded JPEGs.
  7. Quite easy to Bricklink a 8275 together, that's what I did Especially if you already own 8043 and have some XL motors. Really the only expensive parts are the pneumatic cylinder holders and the four yellow track wheels.
  8. How many sections will the boom have? Two should be fairly trivial.
  9. Time to do some shopping on Bricklink then
  10. Yeah that 250 GTO is a work of beauty. I wish he'd made instructions.
  11. Do you have an 8275 to compare it to? It looks absolutely massive.
  12. Nice MOC, but as others said, it's a bit hard on the eyes If you have the funds/parts, go for an orange/white colour scheme, it's more original than full red
  13. Some flex axles would improve the looks, but as you say, yellow ones are hard to find. Had to order four of them from Finland the other day for Jurgen's backhoe. Black ones are pretty common though (except the 19L ones).
  14. Well, I'm definitely curious about the end result! Keep us informed Making a pneumatic telescopic boom for a big crane has always been one of my interests. By the way, you say you have 15 large pneumatic cylinders on one circuit, how then do you maintain sufficient air pressure? Multiple pumps and air tanks?
  15. Won't that waste a lot of space inside the booms when compared to using pinion and rack?
  16. I might give it a shot later on, love the lines on this beauty. Sexy beast. His Bugatti is also excellent by the way, check it out.
  17. Very nice MOC! The spreader uses a 9V micromotor?
  18. Oof. That looks really bad That and the bad fit with the axles/pins leading to a lot of wear makes me wait a bit for the technology to mature before using custom parts. I assume that white gear is a clutch gear and has dog teeth on the other side? You can just destroy old-style differentials to create those you know
  19. Print me some Power Puller tires
  20. Very, very nice MOC. Well done! Is there any chance of you creating (paid) instructions? By the way, I like the functionality of the tracks - seems to provide good traction - but they seem a bit too 'narrow'. Or is it just me?
  21. Looks great indeed, would love to see a video of this beast in action!
  22. Is that a Demag AC-500? Looks badass. Anyway, lots of cool MOCs in this thread, shame most of them don't have instructions. Would love to build some of them.
